Loading ...Our visit to Cotopaxi KOA was dissapointing. We really need WI-FI hook up, and the website states that it is available… it definately is NOT. If you can connect, it is slow and spotty at best. The charge for this is 2.00 per day PER USER.
There is NO cell phone service available at all. The nearest cell signal can be achieved 5 miles away. The campground is clean, however it is not level or paved. The sites are long enough, but not very wide.
The staff was polite, but very aloof. We had reservations to stay for 5 days, however after a day and a half, we left and drove 11 hours back to Flagstaff. They did refund our remaining stay, and it was appreciated, but we were not impressed with this KOA at all.
We travel often, and usually find KOA very pleasing. It was beautiful however, and if you like very remote, you will find it enjoyable.
