Loading ...Castle Rock is a nice, comfortable family-oriented campground with a very friendly staff. The property is in a convenient location just off I-25, exit 174. It can get a little noisy with the Interstate and railroad traffic close by, but its tolerable.
Amenities here include a small store, laundry, game room, a pool and nightly movies. The sites are gravel and fairly level. Some of the sites are a little on the small side if you have a larger RV but there is vegetation between them that will afford some privacy. The interior roads are gravel so the campground tends to get a little dusty at times.
Castle Rock Campground is a great base if you want to visit attactions in Denver and Colorado Springs. It’s also a good stopover park if you are passing thru. I recommend it even if you want to spend a few days there.
