Hi-Pines is a very nice campground. I took the whole family there with our 5th wheel trailer and stayed there for a week.

The campground is very nice and there’s plenty of things to do. We brought out dog with and it got to stretch its legs on their new dog park. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pond and they even had WiFi for us so we could stay connected! That is always good for campgrounds to have. Their restrooms and showers were the cleanest and nicest we’ve ever seen and we’re frequent RVers!

We will definitely be returning!

The Oakdale KOA is a beautiful campground. But more than that… we were treated exceptionally well by the staff when we pulled in with RV problems. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us and direct us to a repair shop.

The campground has 76 sites, 48 full hookups, 12 W/E, 8 E, and 6 no hookup. There are 34 pull through sites, a separate tenting area, a laundry, and a small campstore. There’s also a dump station, showers and FREE Wi-Fi.

There’s lots of things to do here too… they have swimming pools, a heated pool, a playground, Bocce ball, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, a recreation hall, a pavilion, a game room/arcade, a jumping pillow, and hiking trails. They also have planned activities including pancake breakfasts and ice cream socials.

It’s really a fun place to stay, with plenty of things to do for the kids!

My family has been coming to Neshonoc Lakeside Camp Resort for years because of the nice facilities.

They have two well maintained pools and clean rest rooms and showers. Golf carts are available to rent by the day. However, on our last stay there was an unfortunate incident. The new manager arrived at our cabin in a golf cart at sunset, and informed us that our son and his friend were misbehaving on their skateboards. We apologized and let her know that we would lock up the skateboards and they wouldn’t be used for the remainder of the stay. She was quite confrontational and insistent on confiscating the boards or have us evicted.

It was very surreal, especially when she involved a county deputy to enforce the eviction. At that point we handed her the boards. Needless to say, it put quite a damper on our family reunion. It was the most unprofessional thing we had ever witnessed.

Door County Camping Resort is a clean, quiet campground with very nice full hookup sites.

The staff pointed us to miles of hiking trails with great berry picking. The trails could have been better marked – it would not be hard to get lost on them.  The bathrooms were very clean, and our site was nicely mowed and trimmed. This is a very large campground, and some of the sites are small.

The staff was helpful in reserving a site. Call ahead and tell them what you want.

What more could you want? To start out with I love the tall Pine trees along the river that make you feel like you are out West in a National Park. Holiday Shores Campground is one of my favorite places to camp.

There are plenty of activities for the kids here including a very nice swimming pool. They have firetruck rides (in lieu of your standard hay ride) twice a week. Also, you’ll find rentals of all kinds at this campground from pontoons to speed boats.

The resort has a friendly, customer oriented staff! We even caught several fish from the back of our campsite! Don’t miss the fresh donuts made every morning that rival Krispy Creme. Oh, and don’t forget, it’s just ten minutes away from Wisconsin Dells.

We’ve booked this summer’s stay here already. This will make it our 5th stay here. I recommend Holiday Shores Campground to all of my camping friends!

We’ve camped at Baraboo Hills Campground with our pop-up and a group of fellow campers. This campground is great for kids, with lots for them to do from mini-golf, a basketball court, and a game room. There is a small pond to fish from in the campground. There are bikes you can just borrow and return – fun!

The sites are wooded and large enough to make you feel private at your site. They do offer drive thru sites for bigger RV’s too.  The campground is close to area attractions if you are site seeing.  Check it out!

We recently stayed at Stoney Creek RV Resort. The yard of our cabin was being sodded while we were there. Unfortunately, we weren’t notified that this was happen, so endured lots of noise, dust, and lack of privacy for 7-8 hours on our one full day at this campground.

We asked to speak to someone about it several times, but nobody ever called until we reached them. When we spoke to management, they made us feel like we were unreasonable and like it was our fault for not understanding their need to do the work. This was very unfortunate, because we’ve got several friends who were waiting for a recommendation and we also hoped to make this an annual visit. They did send a 20% certificate for future stays, but considering how we felt treated, I don’t know if we can in good conscience come back.

When visiting Wisconsin, we always try to camp at Neshonoc Lakeside Camping Resort. It’s beautifully located on 600 acre Lake Neshonoc.

Some of the 200+ camp sites are located near the lake, while others (our favorites) are situated on the bluff overlooking the lake and region. The staff has always been friendly and made us feel welcomed. The grounds are well groomed and the bathrooms and showers immaculate. There is a pool, playgrounds, cabin rentals, boat rentals and more.

The campground is located just over 14 miles east of La Crosse, which has tourist attractions of it’s own. It’s a great family campground and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This summer we stayed at Fond-Du-Lac KOA, in one of the open sites (no trees) nearer to the entrance, across the creek from the office.
We liked the open space (for young kids), and large sites. The pool was nice, medium sized. The jumping pillow was awesome, the one here was huge. I loved it, the teens and my 3 year old did, too. It was more attractive to the kids than the pool. No bug problems either.The cons… the jumping pillow can be like an ant hill on weekends (crowded). That’s it. We’d go again.
