Tree Farm is a small campground located just east of Springfield, in the southeastern portion of Vermont. The property is located in mostly mature white pine forest. The interior roads are gravel throughout the campground and the sites are quite large. The majority of sites are full-hookup and the price is reasonable ($26 a night). […]

This campground is terrible. No one should ever go there! Now, if you believe that, perhaps this fantastic place will never fill up and we can always get a spot here.
If you are coming from New York, take the ferry from Plattsburg. When you get off the ferry turn left and go down the road […]

Quechee Gorge State Park has no hook-ups, but campsites are huge and most of them shaded by large white pines. Most of the sites are so large that they could comfortably fit two more between each one. Our site this year was backed deep within the pines (see the photo below)
You may miss the convenience […]

Way up in Vermont’s “Northeast Kingdom” is one of the state’s newest campgrounds, Sugar Ridge RV Village and Campground. We had the opportunity to stay here for a few days last summer just to check it out. Several of our friends had stayed there and recommended Sugar Ridge to us.
We packed up on a Friday […]

North Beach Campground is owned and operated by the City of Burlington, Vermont and located on the shores of Lake Champlain.
We stayed here for a week last summer. We chose North Beach Campground because of it’s location and the fact that the area has a rather extensive bicycle trail system that allowed us to ped […]

What a beautiful location! The campground is on small lake way up in northeastern Vermont, near the Canadian border. We stayed here for several days last August.
Lakeside Camping is very quiet, except for an occassional train. There are a good number of sites right along the lakeshore. The sites near the lake are mostly open […]

Lone Pine is conveniently located a few miles north of Burlington in Colchester, Vermont. We were looking for a campground near Burlington and the Lake Champlain Islands area so we could do a little exploring. The last time my wife and I were here was back in our college days so we were eager to reaquaint ourselves with the area.

We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled into this campground. KOAs in general are well maintained, but this one was a definitely cut above.
The Brattleboro North KOA is “tucked among the hills of the Connecticut River Valley in southeastern Vermont”, right on US Route 5, about 4 miles from I-91, exit 3, in East Dummerston, […]

I have camped at Rivers Bend Campground numerous times with my family over the past few years. This is one of the best campgrounds I have ever stayed at. I have no complaints about the staff except for lack of organization.

On our last trip to Rivers Bend we had a party of 8. The owner shows you to the site and makes sure everything is up to your standards. The campround is very quiet as it should be. There is a nice river (hence the name). Swimming and tubing is great. The newly installed pool is very clean.

This is a lovely campground. However, the owners here are a little unpleasant. They advertise as being a "family campground". Unfortunately they do not appear to like children, nor do they understand children. We have camped there several times now and each time we have had issues with the owners regarding children. We generally camp with a large group of people, most of whom have young children. The owners are not very friendly and in fact, have been downright mean to us, particularly on our last visit. We won’t visit this campground again, nor will we recommend it to anyone else. Furthermore, they ask you to leave your grey water open so it empties out onto the ground.
