It was great because it was close by to the Bristol Motor Speedway. It was only 3 miles away. We came here because of my son was racing in the junior drags. We enjoyed the pontoon boat rental which was really nice. The restrooms were really clean. My wife liked them because they are private. You can do laundry which is open 24 hrs like the bathrooms.

The sites were really wide and we enjoyed the pet playground for our lab who loves to run. It was a great park! There website is www.lakeviewrvpark.com. We have camped here 3 times since the summer. Great Staff!

This campground is right across the bridge from Bristol, Tennessee and about 4 miles away from Johnson City. It’s about 10 minutes each way to get downtown. There is a flea market across the road from the campground. If your heading to Kingsport your about 30 minutes away and about 20 minutes to Elizabethton. Some more attractions are the Caverns in Bristol. There are several attractions around the campground. I am usually at Wing Deer Park which host baseball/softball tournaments.

This is an awesome Campground, I would recommend it to anyone!

This campground is easy to find, has a wide paved & lit entrance and easy check in. Our site was a good size, and located around 3 or 4 shower/laundry area’s.  We also had a concrete patio. The sites with trees are good… were able to get the awning out without any problems. The hook ups were clustered together also. The back sections of the park is where the newer rv site additions are. It was a long walk up to the pool area from the back sites though.

Amenities include free wireless Internet, cable TV (50 channels), golf cart rentals, an arcade for the kids, fishing, an outdoor pavilion, camping cabins, a pool area, and a new playground area. The pool area has 2 pools, one is a walk in for the kids and bathroom and shower area for changing there.There is also a small camping store.

This campground is very clean… with lovely people and we all really enjoyed our time there. We returned there in late August on the way to Florida without the kids and we ended up staying extra days and staff moved some people around so that we didn’t have to move. The rates were very reasonable… full hook-up sites start at $30.50 and go up to $49.50 for their best sites. And these are prime summer rates!

We have put this park in our return list for sure. Right outside the campground there are restaurants and shopping too.

They have long level pull thrus with 30 and 50 amp electric service. The full hookup sites have water, electric, sewer, and cable TV. Interior roads are wide and in good condition.

Amenities include free WiFi, a large swimming pool (open May – October), laundry facilities, game room with a pool table, foosball, and air hockey as well as numerous other arcade games. Also an exercise room, and basketball and volleyball courts.

They have two rustic cabins and a 100 seat pavilion with full kitchen facilities, which can be rented for a fee, or provided complimentary to groups camping with 10 or more rigs. All facilities are clean and well maintained. The campground is pet friendly and they strictly enforce their rules, which is great! They are reasonably priced too.

We stayed here in our 5th Wheel last weekend. I recommend Fox Inn Campground!

Their large cabins are really cool! They can sleep up to six people. Each cabin has hardwood floors, large picture windows and a complete kitchen. The living rooms are open and spacious, with steps to a loft sleeping area. After a day of sight seeing you can relax in your Jacuzzi bath tubs. Cabins have queen sized beds in the loft and master bedroom.

Campground facilities are clean and well maintained. Restrooms have heat & AC. They also offer fire wood and ice, laundry, dump station, convenience store, video rentals, gift and antique shop, AT&T payphones, fax and modem services, RV storage, RV parts & LP gas, playground, basketball, horseshoe pit, recreation room, large pavilion, free cable TV, group facilities and sauna.

There is some local road noise, but not to a point of distraction. We would definitely stay here again!

The park is wooded and shady, with 2 mountain streams flowing out of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Amenities include free hot showers, a large, seasonally-heated swimming pool, kiddie wading pool, 3 laundries with water-efficient washers and propane dryers, a fishing pond stocked with Rainbow Trout (extra charge), a 500 ft. water slide (no charge for 2 adults/2 children camp site), playground, camp store/deli with a good selection of groceries, souvenirs, RV and camping supplies, a theater, game room, (with free Internet connection), ATM, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, a summer day camp (free), and lots of daily planned activities.

We stayed there recently when our daughters played in a softball tournament at Winged Deer Park only six miles from the campground in Johnson City. They enjoyed the campground’s playground and the salt water pool. They also enjoyed renting a paddle boat. Lakeview has the best WiFi we have found at any campground www.lakeviewrvpark.com. Now they have added Lakeview Grill that has great burgers.

We are looking forward to returning to Lakeview RV Park for Bristol’s Rhythm and Roots Festival in September.

The campground has the friendliest staff around. Sue and Joe have made tremendous improvement since they have bought it. They take you to your site, which is clean, even the fire rings are clean, Talk about clean, the restrooms are spotless. The gounds are beautifully landscaped and they have 2 fenced in dog pens, which helps us dog owners.

We highly recommend Rocky Top.

We had 3 people on our site and were going to have 2 friends to come up for lunch one day. They charged us an additional $2.50 because we were only allowed 4 per site and any more we get charged. Also, for those people to visit we also have to pay a 1.50 fee for their vehicle. Of course when you question this they say it is our policy. If  I knew this I would have left early and gone to another park.

There is not trash pickup or a dumpster near the sites. There is one dumpster location and is is not near most of the sites. The sites are EXTREMELY small and if you have a long trailer (over 30′) you will have fun getting it in your site. The drive between the sites is simply too narrow and not enough room to back in most trailers. I have a 33′ 5th wheel and as short bed Crew Cab Truck and there was not enough room on my site for my trailer and truck. For the rate they charge you there should be plenty of room.

Their security is always going around telling everyone what they cannot do. Which is fine to a point but it gets annoying when you’re not doing anything wrong. I was told I would have to move my truck to the overflow parking lot since it did not fit completely on my site. But yet you have others in the CG that are hanging over or have more than one vehicle. When you check in they want the drivers license of all adults in your party. Additionally my guests that came to visit for lunch one day had to give the management copies of their drivers license too. To one degree I get that but I have never experienced such of me and the family trying to enjoy a good time.

I will never return here. I will also be telling anyone that will listen not to return.

The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help. We had a problem with our propane and the owner, Brian, spent a long time helping us until we found a tear in one of the hoses. Without Brian’s help, we would have had to take our rv into a service center and that would have ruined our trip.

This KOA is near the Chattanooga Aquarium (17 minutes), Lookout Mountain, and the Hang Gliding Center. We would highly recommend staying here.

This campground has all the amenities – a pool, pavilion, playground, park wide WiFi, cable TV, boat rental, laundry and propane. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We had a cable TV problem, and the owner helped us troubleshoot it and fix it.

It is now our favorite campground in the Bristol and Tri-Cities area.
