Countryside Resort - Lebanon, TN
Countryside Resort is a very nice campground in Lebanon, about 25 miles from Nashville. We stayed here this past summer in our new 38′ motorhome and loved it.
The park is easy to get to because it’s fairly close to the Interstate highway (I-40), but there are woods that block any views and noise. The campground […]
Windrock Campground - Oliver Springs, TN
Windrock Campground is the place to ride quads, dirt-bikes, or jeeps. The trails are fantastic, I hear it’s like 70,000 acres of property with hundreds of miles of trails. We stayed at Windrock Campground for 3 days and had a fantastic time.
The people there were great, Gene and Missy are the best! They keep things […]
Tremont Outdoor Resort - Townsend, TN
We just had a terrible camping experience in this campground. There were too many rules to remember and the management was not camper friendly. It was more like a Boot Camp.
Windrock Campground - Oliver Springs, TN
If you’re riding the Windrock trails, do not stay at Windrock Campground. (don’t be confused with Windrock Park) Stay at Indian Creek Campground (has a pool, nice owners, great view) or Windrock Park (new, gravel sites with BBQ pit, picnic tables, nice owners).
Tellico Plains KOA - Tellico, TN
Tellico Plains KOA campground has nice sized lots, but not a lot of shade. They had a lot of great activities for the children and were helpful when needed.
The showers were a little different as there were no men and women’s showers. There are 4-5 stalls with doors that lock. It just seemed odd being […]
Holiday Trav-L-Park, Chattanooga, TN
There are several campgrounds available in the Chattanooga area, we chose this one because the Trailer Life Rating was high. We figured, if they were full we’d just work down the list until we found a place.
The Park brags about being close to the Interstate, but there are no highway noises. The nearby Race Track […]
Baileyton RV Park - Baileyton, TN
We stopped here as an overnight as we were heading north for the summer. The bottom line here is, we should have kept driving up the road.
Two Rivers Landing RV Resort - Sevierville, TN
We just spent the last few days at Two Rivers RV Resort, a new campground located along the banks of the French Broad River in Sevierville, Tennessee.
The park has 25 large riverfront sites and 30 slightly smaller river-view sites, all nicely landscaped with level concrete pads and picnic tables. All sites are full hook-up and […]
Townsend Great Smokies KOA - Townsend, TN
Upon first sight Townsend Great Smokies KOA is beautiful. My wife, son, and myself stayed. At first it seemed great until my in laws came to visit. We found out their was a $4.00 dollar charge per person. Which was not stated on the web site. They parked on our site so their was no additional parking. You pay $53.00 a night for partial hook up. Then upon check out you get to pay $5.00 dump fee.
Carthage RV Park - Carthage, TN
Carthage RV Park was a nice campground with extremely friendly, helpful staff. The sites had all concrete level RV pads, and the utilities were in good shape and well positioned on the site. There was standard cable TV with plenty of choices for basic TV. There was plenty of grass between the sites but there […]
