Big Pine Campground – Custer, SD
We had cold and rainy weather on our long awaited trip to the Black Hills. The highs were in the middle 40′s during the day, so it would have been nice to have heated shower houses. Also their website forgets to mention that there is no cable TVÂ for when you are stuck in a camper [...]
Windmill Campground – Beresford, SD
We spent a wounderful time this past July and August at Windmill Campground. We had been on a long trip and it was the perfect place to unwind for a month. The couple that own the campground were great… friendly and helpful. We enjoyed their company very much. The campground was quiet. The property was mostly [...]

Mount Rushmore/Hill City KOA – Hill City, SD

They have horse stables, a restaurant, 2 pools, a waterslide, an ice cream store, and plenty of wilderness to explore. Mount Rushmore is close by too. My kids had a magical time and beg me to go back [...]
Big Pine Campground – Custer, SD
Big Pine is a GREAT campground. We stayed there in July 2007. Every site is nestled in the pine trees, and the bathhouse was sparkling. When we did not have what we needed to level our trailer (we were relatively new to camping) the owners were very helpful, supplying us with what we needed. Also, when the little store did not have an item we needed, they were happy to suggest where to find it elsewhere in Custer.
