Driftstone on the Delaware – Mt. Bethel, PA
Driftstone on the Delaware is a fantastic campground. There are many additional fees however, that is the price you pay for perfection. We always stay at campgrounds with sewer hookups, but this campground is our only exception.
Driftstone has the most spacious sites. I could fit three fifth wheels in my site. [...]
Buttonwood Campground – Mexico, PA
Buttonwood Campground was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We definitely will go back just to see them. The kids had a great time, with the new playground and the GREAT pool. I can’t say enough great things about this campground.
Highland Campground – Scranton, PA
Highland Campground is a nice place at a good price (about $32 a night). The campground is located about six miles off I-81 North, but not too far. We had a nice, level private site, with a clean pool, a great arcade with excellent 1980’s vintage games, and a really pleasant owner.
Williamsport South/Nittany Mtn. KOA – New Columbia, PA
Williamsport South/Nittany Mtn. KOA is a recent addition to the KOA system and was formerly listed as a Good Sam Park. It is located on a rural road off of I-80 & US 15. It’s about 5 miles off the I-80. They offer full hookups and cable. The campground has a small store and stocks all the camping basics.
Allentown-Lehigh Valley KOA – New Tripoli, PA
Allentown-Lehigh Valley KOA like a motel with guests on wheels!
I was working a project in Allentown, and decided to stay at this campground for 6 nights. I was surprised at the Zero Alcohol policy, but it’s a thought. Here’s my experience…
