Driftstone on the Delaware is a fantastic campground. There are many additional fees however, that is the price you pay for perfection. We always stay at campgrounds with sewer hookups, but this campground is our only exception.
Driftstone has the most spacious sites. I could fit three fifth wheels in my site. […]

Buttonwood Campground was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We definitely will go back just to see them. The kids had a great time, with the new playground and the GREAT pool. I can’t say enough great things about this campground.

Highland Campground is a nice place at a good price (about $32 a night). The campground is located about six miles off I-81 North, but not too far. We had a nice, level private site, with a clean pool, a great arcade with excellent 1980’s vintage games, and a really pleasant owner.

Allentown-Lehigh Valley KOA like a motel with guests on wheels!
I was working a project in Allentown, and decided to stay at this campground for 6 nights. I was surprised at the Zero Alcohol policy, but it’s a thought. Here’s my experience…

We were looking for a place to stay close to Knoebels Amusement Park and I found this campground online. I called and ask how far away from Knoebels they are and was told about 1/2 hour. Actually it is more like an hour away. We rented the Green Cabin for $120 + tax for a […]

We stayed at Drummer Boy Campging Resort for four nights in the second week of May of 2007 in our Class C. Before we left, we had read a review that discussed highway noises in the first 50 sites, so we called and they put us out back in a 300-level numbered site. This isn’t a complaint, but the campground property runs for about a country mile, down route 15 (very busy 24/7 with a 65 MPH speed limit) and the property is closer to 15 at the low sites (near the store and mini golf), but we heard the low roar of traffic even from our site. There’s really no avoiding some of that highway noise anywhere at Drummer Boy b/c of its location.

Country Haven Campground has an absolutely beautiful vista of Amish farmland from most sites in this quiet campground. The facilities are excellent with 20/30/50 amp electirc, water, sewer and free cable available. They have excellent showers and rest rooms, and a nice laundry.
The park has excellent paved roads, and level, gravel sites. The sites are […]

Joel and Roz Bieler started Country Haven Campground and had it for years so when Bob and Bonnie Patterson bought it two years ago I was worried it wouldn’t be as good.
Not to worry. Of all the many campgrounds we go to this is by far the best. We have been going so long that […]

Fantasy Island is a beautiful campground located on the banks of the Susquehanna River in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. The bath houses are the cleanist we have ever come accross in traveling the US. The campsites are on the river and others have river views along with ones further back.

Boating is one of the features on the river. If you have a boat it would be great which we did not but we enjoyed the views along with watching the people who do.
