Twin Lakes RV Park is a great family campground. They have a friendly staff and a lot of summer families from the area. “Seasonal” quiet during the week and activities for the kids all day Saturday.

Long Lake Park Campground is the best park we’ve stayed at so far. They have a 70acre natural spring fed lake and fishing for Bass, Bluegill, Crappie and Pike… and no license is required.
They have a swimming beach, a beautiful new pool, a game room with kiddie corner, and shower facilities. This place is big […]

Cedar Point is the undisputed roller coaster capitol of the world and this theme park also has a great RV park right next door.

We love this park. For us, it’s the perfect location… just far enough from the highway to feel remote, but it’s only about 3 miles from Richmond, Indiana.
The park is just off I-70, exit 156 right on the Ohio/Indiana border. Richmond has plenty of restaurants and shopping.

Scenic Hills is a nice RV park with large, level open gravel sites on a grassy hilltop. It was easy for us to get around, even with our larger rig.
The campground is clean and well maintained but does not have shower/restroom facilities. Each site has a fire ring (free firewood!) and a picnic table. […]

We live close to Mohican State Park Campground and naturally started camping here when we purchased our camper. What we have discovered as we have ventured out and looked at other campgrounds is that we are spoiled by what we have a Mohican State park. This class A campground has 33 full hookup and 118 water & electric sites.

We have visited Scenic Hills RV Park several times over the past few years, and always find the owners/employees very helpful and friendly.

Being located in Amish country, there is much to see. The sites are divided into three basic sections… main area, all gravel. Upper section (on the hill - watch your awning!), sites are gravel surrounded by lawns. Lower section is mostly pull-through with a few back-in sites, all gravel and level, surrounded by lawns.

My husband and I have begun to travel the country by RV. We recently had occasion to stop at Lock 30 Woodlands RV Campground Resort in Lisbon. What a wonderful rather deep woods heavily forested spot! The pull through sites made it easy. There was also a bocce court that was lighted and you don?t see to many of those.

This was the most unwelcoming campground we have ever been to. First, the reception on check in was not as inviting as you would except, especially since we were of a very few campers there that weekend. But after staying for 5 minutes we felt that the welcome reflected the owners and its seasonal atttitude toward overnight campers… one of not being welcome or wanted.

Hueston Woods State Park - College Corner, OH

Hueston Woods is an older park with lots of trees. It is way too densely developed - most (maybe all) of the spots are shared pads. Most of the lots are very much not level. The camping area needs lots of TLC - it’s not very well maintained. Not to mention Ohio’s $8/reservation fee on top of the daily camping charges making this pretty expensive.
