My husband, myself, my 4year old son and my daughter and 3 dogs all camped July 4th weekend 2008 at Tall Pines! I have to say it was the best 4th of July I have ever had.
The campground has a lot to offer for everyone. The staff is wonderful and we were first time […]

Southwick Beach State Park is a very well kept campground but it has a major flaw, high iron water that smells and tastes terrible. Be sure to bring your own no matter what they tell you. Do not use their water to refill your system, it’s dark and coppery.
We stayed last September and left early. […]

Adirondack Camping Village is a family operated campground located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains at the northern edge of Lake George Village. It’s a quiet, well maintained park just far enough away from the traffic and crowds of the village yet close enough to be convenient.
Campsites are mostly wooded with plenty of shade. The campground […]

We’ve camped at Lake George RV Park many times over the past 20 years and have a great time every time we visit. This is a true RV Destination Resort and with 400 full hook-up sites on 120 acres, it’s big! With tons of amenities, you’ll really never have to leave for something to do. The park is located on NY Route 149 just a few miles south of Lake George.

When you first enter the park you’ll notice plenty of room to park your rig while you check in. Most interior roads are paved and in good condition. While a few sites are paved, the vast majority are gravel. There are 350 sites with full hook-ups (30/50 amps). There are both wooded and open sites available.

A part of the Onieda Casino complex, one-half mile from the Casino and numerous golf courses, Turning Stone is one really fine campground. The park offers fast WiFi, generous cable, and great amenities including a heated pool with lifeguard and jacuzzi. Also nicely landscaped sites, daily trash removal (including new can liners!) from each site, […]

This is a very beautiful and clean campground, but be prepared for “The Rules” as the owner will ask you if you reviewed them and know them at least daily on your stay. Although they have a recreation hall, they don’t appear to cater to children.
This campground is excellent for self contained RVs, but […]

This was one of the worst reception we have ever received on arrival at an RV Park. The owner met us at the gated entry and when informed that we belonged to Passport America he became hostile. He told us that he had nothing but trouble from Passport America members and that he didn’t really […]

We had a great time at Shadow Brook Campground. Partly because it was the end of the season, and we were pretty much alone.

Shadow Brook is a unique property surrounding a nice pond. The gravel roads are in good shape. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry are clean and modern inside with a rustic look outside. Some sites are laid out in an unconventional way, but most are back-ins. Very few have three-way hook-up, but they have a dump station and a "Honey Wagon."

I was beside myself to discover the only National Forest in New York State. It shows on very few maps, and no RV guides. Finger Lakes National Forest is a small patch of National Forest that sits between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes, just south of the Seneca Army Depot.
We had a great time. Blueberry […]

Pack the kids, this place is great! Located in Poland, NY near the Southern Adirondacks. Our last-minute reservation was accepted quickly, and check-in was fast and friendly. Then came the real reward, the campground is immaculate. Buildings and grounds are maintained to a very high standard with lots of entertaining extras.
