Cactus RV Park – Tucumcari, NM
We liked Cactus RV Park. They had long pull thru sites which was great for us. The park offered good cable reception. Electric service was good as well. The campground had killer WIFI… it worked great!
Carlsbad KOA – Carlsbad, NM
We just got back from spending a few days at Carlsbad KOA… What a great resort campground! Calsbad KOA appears to be fairly new and the entire property and facilites are clean and well maintained. The park owners are very friendly and seem to have taken great effort to have a very attractive, well designed [...]
Cactus RV Park, Tucumcari, NM
We found Cactus RV Park in Passport America. We were pleasantly surprised since it was rated a 3-Stars in Woodall’s. It’s certainly not the fanciest, but very clean and the campsite is pretty spacious. I noticed that the other campers were all new, large units, so we felt we were among good company. New Mexico [...]
Hacienda RV Resort – Las Cruces, NM
This is a lovely campground! The facilities are clean and the property is well maintained. We camped here in our brand new fifth-wheel last weekend. Even though many of the southwestern campgrounds we have stayed at are wide open with little privacy, this campground has some more mature vegetation between the sites which helps greatly. [...]
Turquoise Trail Campground and RV Park – Cedar Crest, NM
We stayed at Turquoise Trail Campground in October, 2007. I was a little wary of staying here because they do not have a website, but we wanted to stay away from the crowds of Albuquerque. I was pleasantly surprised! We were escorted to our site upon arrival. The directions they gave me to the campground were great (it is a little off the beaten path).
The showers/bathrooms were somewhat older, but very clean and accessible. We loved being close to the mountain instead of on an asphalt parking lot.
