We checked in to Liberty Harbor RV Park on a day that was 105 to 110 degree hot. We paid $50, plus tax, for no electricity, no water site.

We went to New York City for the whole day, and could not wait to have an air conditioned accommodation. After we got back to our RV around 7pm or 8pm. we cooled down and relaxed. At 11 pm, the security guard asked us to stop the electricity generator. We had to drive to Wal-Mart at midnight so we can park for free, and being able to have air conditioning.

Turtle Run Campground was an awesome place for the entire family.  It’s close enough to the shore without the high prices but far enough to still “rough it” and get back to nature.

Everything you need is right on the campground property and the prices at their General Store are more than reasonable.  Everyone there was so nice and inviting.

I hope to make their campground a yearly stay for our family vacations.  Please check them out!

Butterfly Camping Resort is a great campground located about 15 minutes southeast of 6 Flags Great Adventure Theme Park at 360 Butterfly Road.

There are some seasonal campers here. The campground has some pull-thrus and great utilities including full cable TV. You do have to pay for wi-fi. The sites are level gravel with mostly trees for shade.

The office staff was very friendly and accommodating. The camp store has basic groceries and all the usual camping stuff. They have a nice social hall for group meetings and a large pool. The propery is well kept. I would go back without hesitation.

Turtle Run Campground is a nice family camping destination located in the New Jersey Pinelands. They have RV and tent sites as well as camping cabins.

We stayed here this past fall and had a super time. The park has great management and an attentive staff. The restrooms and facilities were very clean and well maintained. They also have free WiFi.

Facilities include a small campstore that sells groceries and RV supplies, a laundromat, game room, recreation hall, swimming pool, and a playground with horseshoes, and a basketball court. They also have planned activities in season. It looks like the campground owners are always improving the experience of camping here.

We plan to return this spring and we have recommended Turtle Run to our camping friends.

As always Seashore Campsites keeps up it’s high quality of service and ammenities. We always get our full hook up site.

The staff there always go out of there way to make sure your stay is pleasurable. If you have a problem, they get on it right away. The campground is always clean and up to date.

If you go to Cape May, this is the campground to stay at. They are always booked,so make your reservations early!

Is it possible to give negative stars? A half of a star is much too good for this park. First we pulled up to the gate with our 5th wheel only to see a sign that said the entrance was 12′ 10″ high. My 5th wheel is 13′ 1″ high. The girl at the gate told me I had to back all the way up and go through the exit and didn’t offer any help backing up. Who puts that kind of entrance at a campground when most 5th wheels are 13′ high? When we finally got into the campground the “escort” golf cart that showed us to our site took us the wrong way down our street to get into our campsite so he took us all over the campground going the wrong way down one way streets (full of potholes) until we finally came to the other end of our street to pull in correctly.

Once we got hooked up the electric lasted about 30 minutes then went out. I went over to the connection to check the breaker and as soon as I touched the breaker it came loose and started sizzling. Maintenance did come by and replace the breaker but the electric went out twice again the next morning. Two gentlemen from maintenance were nice enough to take care of the problem for me quickly by replacing all the wiring in the box. This part is not a complaint but is just one example of how shoddy everything in this park is.

We went July 4th weekend and no pool… yep it’s under construction in the middle of the summer, way to go management. They neglected to mention this on the phone when we reserved our sites. Of course you can pay extra to use the water slide… well for the first day, it was broke after that. Then there’s the lake, you can swim in that if you don’t mind the very under qualified lifeguard. Since it was hot with nothing to cool off in I figured I’d watch some TV in my camper, but wait, you have to pay extra for cable on a full hook up site. Oh well, no TV.

Now we know there’s no pool, bad electric, a broken water slide, a dirty lake with a nasty “lifeguard” so what else does the wonderful Buena Vista have to offer? Well, I hope you don’t use the campground’s restrooms because if they’re not locked, they’re filthy. In addition, keep your kids off the roads because there were plenty of people driving way too fast (25 mph) down the streets and right by our sites with security no where to be found. One camper was so drunk he drove his car over a tree stump and tore the gas tank off the car. Campground management found him there complaining with a beer in his hand. Did they call the police you ask? Nah. Quiet time is 11:00 at Buena Vista but some campers don’t care and blare spanish music well into the night all over the campground. Not once did management or security drive by to check things out.

Onto the store and game room… the store was pretty much empty of supplies and the game room was full of old games in which most didn’t even work.

As for management and staff, it seemed to me that the average age was about 17.

Morgan RV Resorts owns this campground so I’m scratching all of their campgrounds off my list of possibilities.

So, if you’re into spending $57 a night for filth, bad electric, nasty lifeguards, a broken waterslide, no pool, lots of spanish music and a generally horrible experience go to Buena Vista Campground. If you’re not into these things go anywhere else.

Beachcomber is one of the best campgrounds that we have ever stayed at! It’s a beautiful park with plenty of things to do for the entire family… and centrally located to both Wildwood and Cape May.

The campground is large, clean, well maintained and nicely landscaped. Amenities include 3 adult pools, 3 kiddy pools and 2 freshwater lakes for swimming, a large playground, and plenty of scheduled activities. Sites are comfortably large. Our site was on a large, level concrete slab. We also took advantage of the wireless internet (Wi-Fi)!

There’s an airport nearby and that can get a little noisy, but you get used to it. Otherwise a great campground and one that we will be visiting for years to come!

Indian Rock Resort is located in Central New Jersey, close to Six Flags Great Adventure, Hurricane Harbor and Wild Safari Park. We stayed Memorial Day weekend and had a great time.

The campground is clean and well maintained. You can tell that the restrooms were recently remodeled along with the lodge, pool and mini golf. There are two restrooms with showers and laudry in both. The staff was very friendly too. The store seemed well stocked. There was also a lifeguard at the pool. We will be back at Indian Rock.

p.s. it only took us minutes to get to Six Flags.

We camped at TripleBrook Family Camping Resort this past weekend. It’s now under new management and it shows. Among the changes are chairs around the 2 beautifully kept pools, flower baskets surrounding for your viewing pleasure, the adult pool with a more “resort like appearance”. New landscaping is in progress, and flowers and baskets abound. There are chairs by the office to sit, relax and chat as you greet others and you can access the wi-fi as well. The owners assured us there will be wi-fi access by July.

The sites are roomy, and the property has wonderful rolling hills and mature vegetation to ensure everyone’s enjoyment.  The bathrooms are very clean too. The wooded area is wonderful to walk through or stay if you like, we prefer the open grassy areas. The park is secure and gated and I enjoyed the peace of mind to know they monitor the clients that enter the park.

For the birdlover’s there are many to look at and of course there is the farm animals for all the little ones to enjoy as well. There is a friendly atmosphere and the owners are eager to guarantee their customer’s satisfaction.

Will definetly return this summer. We camped in our 33 ft. Travel Trailer.
