New Hampshire
Glen Ellis Family Campground - Glenn, NH
This campground was one of the worst campgrounds I have visited. The bathrooms were not well maintained and there was no hand soap in any of them. In my travels I have never seen a bathroom that you had to bring your own hand soap.
Littleton-Lisbon KOA - Littleton, NH
After spending the day visiting some of the attractions in New Hampshire’s Franconia Notch we decided to spend the night at one of the area KOAs.
The Littleton-Lisbon KOA is located on US Route 302, about 5 miles south of Littleton and I-93 exit 42. The campground is quite small (about 60 sites) and tucked between […]
Barrington Shores Campground - Barrington, NH
Barrington Shores is located about 3 miles off US Route 4, and about halfway between Concord and Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
When we first arrived here, we were a bit disappointed… trash dumpsters, dirt piles and maintenance equipment greeted us at the entrance area. But once we got over that initial disappointment, Barrington Shores grew on us. […]
Lake Forest Resort - Wakefield, NH
Lake Forest Resort is located in Wakefield, in New Hampshire’s “Lakes Region”. This campground was a nice birthday surprise. I needed to get away. The resort is on Great East Lake… a really pretty spot. We kayaked. The lake was very clean. At night the park was extremely quiet.
We had a great site with trees […]
Jellystone Park - Ashland, NH
This Jellystone campground is a great place for families! The grounds and facilities are very clean and well maintained. The park offers both wooded and open sites, and they have a well stocked camp store.
The campground is absolutely perfect for families… and it is very busy with children all over the place. I would recommend […]
Seven Maples Campground - Hancock, NH
We are seasonal campers at Seven Maples in Hancock,N.H. It is located in New Hampshire’s Monadnock Region. The owners are the best… they really care about their campers. We have only had them for one season but they have already won the hearts of all of us. The grounds are nice and the camp store has just about anything you would need at a price you can afford if you forget something at home. They have a nice pool and a pond that can be used for small rafts and also swimming.
Cold Springs Camp Resort - Weare, NH
We were looking for something relatively close to home for just a night or two so we decided to give Cold Springs Camp Resort a try… and what a pleasant suprise!
Cold Springs is a family-oriented campground located just off NH Route 114, in the town of Weare… about 15 miles west of the city of […]
Crown Point Campground - Strafford, NH
We went camping at Crown Point August 13 & 14 and stayed across from the playground. This kept the kids busy and they had a great time. Large, clean sites for weekend sites, and some great fishing! It was catch and release but we didn’t need a licence. Our kids had fun. We’re planning on going back to Crown Point in September.
Meredith Woods Camping Area - Meredith, NH
If you’re an RVer that’s looking for a small, quiet campground in the middle of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, Meredith Woods Campground may be just for you.
Check in was quick and the staff was friendly. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The campground has excellent interior paved roads and the sites are comfortably large […]
Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park - Ashland, NH
Jellystone Park caters to families big time. We had the opportunity to stay there for a few days last summer and the campground was extremely busy with kids everywhere you looked.
The activity list here is quite impressive and the facilities are clean and well maintained. Sites range from sunny and open to wooded. It was […]
