I would have to give credit where credit is due. The staff at Canyon Trail RV Park is very pleasant to deal with, and always cheerful.

Our first visit here was nearly four years ago and at that time would have definitely been rated 5 stars out of 5. Unfortunately, over the last few years, and our frequent visits, it’s sad to see what appears to be a degradation to the overall quality and experience of staying at this park. They just let things go. From dead trees that still stand to garbage blowing throughout the park daily, it’s apparent that somewhere over the last few years there’s been a drastic shift in management’s concern over this park. Visitors are constantly informing staff of broken and non-functioning laundry machines and disruptions in TV service and complete lack of advertised internet/WIFI services.

This is just really sad to see what once was such a beautiful park becoming what seems to be a typical trailer park.

Winnemucca RV Park  is a great campground, right off I-80 and between Reno and Salt Lake City.

The park has mostly full hookups. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, a pool, and campstore. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Their prices are great too. Sites are gravel and fairly level, some drive thrus . Some sites are in the shade. There are several casinos and stores nearby. This campground does seem to fill up by 6 pm.

It’s a perfect place to go for the night. This is a Good Sam campground.

Las Vegas KOA is a nice, modern campground at the back side of the Circus Circus casino on the north end of the Las Vegas strip.

There is no shade here so be prepared. The sites are level asphalt. They have a golf cart shuttle around the park and to the casino as it can be a long walk from some sites. The campground has a large store, large recreation room with computers and printers.

This casino caters to families and kids… As you would expect, this campground is a bit pricier than most KOA’s.

The Circus Circus KOA property is nice and secured by a concrete wall all the way around. Their camp store is very nice and the front desk personel were very helpful with suggestions for activities to do in the area.

Access to the strip is very inconvenient due to the concrete security wall. The campground shuttle only takes you to the back door of the hotel, leaving you with a half mile trek through two casinos and up two floors, then back down to get to the lobby. Also, for the size of the campground, the restroom facilities are very small and could have used more frequent attention.

This is a fantastic RV park! We stayed here for two weeks last month. The premium, deluxe and standard spaces at the front of the park are all excellent. We found being east of the pool in the #400s was best.

They are close to the laundry, pool and away from the in and out traffic of the park. The I-15 traffic can be heard in the park, but on the east side of the pool, it really isn’t a bother at all.

The trolley service to the strip is also excellent. We did not experience problems with the sprinklers or with any bugs of any kind when we were there. The airport is nearby and planes did go overhead during daylight hours mostly, and again, wasn’t a bother at all.

I would recommend this park to anyone who likes a Resort type stay at an RV Park. The park looks exactly like it does on their website!

Ely KOA is fine for an overnight stop. There is plenty of room to maneuver and facilities were adequate. Some with bigger rigs might have difficulty, so I would call if your over 40 foot.

The office staff was okay, not overly friendly but that may have just been her personality. I was impressed with the cable, lots of channels and pretty good reception. WiFi was fine for the price. We were there in mid November and it was cold, woke up to frost on every thing. We didn’t hook up the water and glad we didn’t as might have froze. There was no one there to help us with propane when we pulled out and that was a bummer.

If your coming in on Hwy 93, you won’t have any problem finding it, its on the west side of the highway just south of town. On the other hand, if your coming in on Hwy 6, turn south on 93 where Hwy 6 T’s and it’s about a half mile down the road.

Canyon Trails RV park is a nice, clean, landscaped, paved campground, with friendly and helpful staff.

We were there in mid November and I was glad that I had made reservations as it was full. Spaces are wide enough for us as we don’t have slides but suspect that might be a issue with others. The only real problem we had was we couldn’t find the cable connection as it was out of sight under the gray box. Once the neighbor came and showed us where it was, all was well. Also I couldn’t find the garbage but DH found it someplace.

All and all, I would stay again.

Sam’s Town RV Park is a large campground with 500 sites, paved streets and gravel pads.

All of the sites are full hook-up, including cable TV. Mostly of the sites are side-by-side hook-ups but the sites don’t have picnic tables or fire pits. The pull-thru sites are a comfortable size. The property and facilities were clean and very well maintained. The restrooms, showers and laundry facilities were spotless. They also have swimming pools and Jacuzzis, pet runs, a BBQ area

The staff was friendly and helpful. They also have shuttle service to the casino which is open 24/7, with bowling, dancing and great restaurants including the all-you-can-eat Firelight Buffet.

Silver City RV Resort is clean and the sites are easy to pull through. There are 206 full hook-up, 35′ wide pull-through sites, with telephone and cable TV. Sites have a level concrete area for your rv next to a crushed stone area with a picnic table

They have a very nice covered swimming pool with spa, a cozy club house, with fireplace and fitness center, playground, a large laundry and an arcade with slot machines. They also have a very nice, well stocked grocery store. The property and all the facilities are very clean and well maintained.

There’s lots of attractions nearby too. Rates are reasonable… we paid $35 for a very nice site. They also have Good Sam, AAA and AARP discounts.
