Southside RV Park - Dillon, MT
Southside RV Park is clean and well maintained… “Cute as a bug’s ear.” The managers (Tim and Janet) are tops! You must see this park to believe.
Hope to see you there.

West Yellowstone KOA - West Yellowstone, MT
Our stay at West Yellowstone KOA should have been a great family vacation but it turned into a nightmare. We spent the previous nights at the KOA in Great Falls and had a fine experience but this place is run like a concentration camp.
We were told be quiet BEFORE quiet hours began at 10PM. We […]
Southside RV Park - Dillon, MT
I had the very great pleasure to stay as guests of Tim and Janet Gore, owners of the Southside RV Park from July 2nd through July 5th, 2008.
Their park was immaculate, well laid out, with ample room to maneuver even the largest vehicles. There was well groomed grass at every site, with hard packed gravel […]
Cardwell Store & RV Park - Cardwell, MT
Cardwell Store and RV Park is located along the Highway next to a Mini-Mart. The campground is not fancy , but gets the job done. There is no cable or Wi-Fi and it costs $ 24.00 per night. We stayed here one night.
Dillon KOA - Dillon, MT
We stayed at Dillon KOA recently after spending the night at Bannack State Park. The sites were very small. We tried to put out our awning and we could not because it would hit our neighbors. We could not get a site with full hook ups, even though we made our reservations way ahead of time. The park overall needs some TLC. The customer service is not very friendly at all.
Bannack State Park Campground - Dillon, MT
We recently stayed at Bannack State Park campground. We loved the ghost town… put it on your list to see when going to Montana. We stayed in the campground , it is dry camping. It cost $ 20.00 per night. It was clean & rustic the hosts were very friendly. Just make sure you have everything you need because a store is not even close, about 25 miles to a town.
Alder KOA Kampground - Alder, MT
We tried Alder KOA Kampground after staying at the Butte KOA… Butte was terrible so we thought we would give KOA one more try. After all the bad ones we went to this one was good. The sites were flat and really had nice green grass… which was a welcoming sight. It’s close to Virgina City too. We saw Virgina City RV Park & were very happy we made Alder KOA our choice.
Butte KOA - Butte, MT
We could not believe the condition of this campground… The advertisements on the internet showed a beautiful park. In fact, it is run down and dirty with old, long term mobile home trailers all around. In my opinion it is nothing like it described on the KOA web site.
Southside RV Park - Dillon, MT
We came across Southside RV Park by the highway signs. We stayed 3 days in our 5th wheel. We met a lot of nice people and went to the pot luck… we were too tired to go to the bingo game afterwards. Our dog appreciated the green grass at our site. This campground is very well maintained.
Virginia City RV Park - Virginia City, MT
We stayed at Virginia City RV Park in July 2007 in our pop-up with our five children, ages 5 - 15.
This was the worst RV park we’ve ever visited. The beautiful green grass on their web site turned out to be dead weeds. There was no shade, and the picnic tables were falling to pieces.
