This is an excellent camping facility. They have very nice sites for all size rigs and also a tent area. The campground is convenient to the Mall of America, the Minneapolis Zoo, a baseball park and downtown… It’s just off I-35E. They have small store as part of office with really clean restrooms and showers. Firewood for sale too. This is a great campground if you are going to the Minnesota State Fair.

They have reasonable prices too. We camped here in our 28′ travel trailer and loved it. I recommend it.

The facilities and common areas are always clean and well kept. The restrooms and showers are modern and clean, and there is always plenty of hot water. There is also a laundry facility on the premises and a convenience store for necessities.

They have a game room with foos ball, a video game, play station 2 and computer games. Also, a small playground, horseshoes, volleyball and “monkey balls”

Nearby is the nice little town of Welcome, MN. The town has a cafe, hardware store and taverns. The campground has limited supplies in there office/store. 2009 prices were $25 full hook-up.

There’s lots to do as they feature theme activities, a swimming pool, trails, mini-golf, stocked fishing ponds (big fish and free), a game room and trails. They even have a restraunt.  They also have free wi-fi for all to use.  The campground and all the facilities are well kept up and staff is friendly and made us feel right at home too!

Customer service was horrible.  I felt like I was an unwanted guest. There was a constant smell of sewage in the air and I would stronly recommend anyone looking for a campground in the area to continue on to another.

They no longer deliver firewood, pizza, pick up trash and apparently their is no security because we were up all night with noise… and they would not refund our stay. No one seems to know what is going on and the “manager” could barely speak English.

Although the office staff was friendly, I don’t think they knew what to do. We had a horrible stay and are angry enough to write this review.

They have lot’s of neat amenities for the kids including a petting zoo, mini-golf ($), and free train rides around the park. They also have a slide pool with 3 seperate large water slides ($). All your typical amenities are here too (horseshoes, game room, laundry, etc.). They have a wonderful little snack bar called the “Picnic Basket” that has breakfast and lunch daily and pizzas and chicken wings for dinner. They also make donuts every Saturday morning!

There’s lot’s of activities and entertainment too! Free hayrides daily, video rentals, karaoke, crafts and scheduled events.

The campsites are average, nothing special, but are large and many are shaded. They have quite a few extra-large pull-thru sites and full hookups. Wi-fi is also free here and the signal reaches most of the park.

The facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and friendly. As you can imagine with all these amenities, this is a busy campground in the summer. If you’ve got kids, they’ll have no trouble keeping occupied. If you’re looking for a quiet, secluded place to get away from it all, I would suggest that you try one of the other campgrounds in the area.

The campsites are gravel and relatively level but fairly close together with little or no cover between them. Many of the sites have light to medium shade. You do feel a little crowded, especially with so many kids running around and thru your campsite.

The campground is well-landscaped with lots of flowers shrubs and grass. It’s really a great family campground, and easy to get to… about 13 miles from I-35 and directly across the street from Clear lake. The campground also has own boating and fishing docks.

Kiesler’s can be an extremely busy park during the summer, especially on weekends with tons of kids! If you’re looking for some peace and quiet, you won’t find it here. If you have kids, this is an excellent campground to call home for a week or two.

They have great activities for everyone to participate in and a pool with two welcoming water slides. They are also pet friendly and I’m able to bring my two dogs with when I go there. I always meet new people. It’s great because they always pick up after bad weather and never let any rules be broken but welcome famlies from anywhere.

I have reccomennded this campground to many of my friends and they all love it there too. Everyone is tottally supervised and they keep all the bathrooms clean. I hope you consider checking out there website!

Great for a mid-week stop while heading east or west. Just drive in and pick a site, maybe someone will stop by for the donation or maybe not. We have stayed there for a week at a time. There is pretty good fishing right off there dock and they do have a boat landing also.
