The park was clean and well maintained. The sites were level and fairly easy to get in and out of. We have stayed here before and the campground is very large (over 400 sites) many seasonal. I agree that the seasonal people are a great asset to the park. We met a lovely seasonal couple by the upper pool who had beautiful impatiens all along their site, they had been seasonal over 25 years and were a great resource and very friendly and helpful.

Bay View Campground has 3 pools, a camp store, a “hot dog” stand, an arcade, and entertainment at a pavilion on the weekends.

The bands that played during our stay were very loud… request a site away from the upper pool or pavilion if you want to get some sleep before 10:00 pm or have small kids.

Otherwise, we had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay at Black Bear campground. It’s located only a few minutes from I-95, exit 60.

Our children enjoyed the large play ground, two pools and Recreation Hall. We had a full hook up site with cable. Our site was level and a good size. Sites have a fireplace and picnic table. The bath houses and the laundry room were very clean. They also have ferr wi-fi.

The campground is only about 3 miles from the Atlantic Ocean and several beaches including Salisbury Beach and Hampton Beach (NH). We will return.

While Pinewood Lodge is a really beautiful campground, one I would recommend, there are a few quirky things that you might want to know: 1. They limit web access to 1 hour each day you are there. 2. All visitors pay a hefty day-charge ($10/adult). That was pretty un-cool for folks that just came in to have dinner with us at our site. 3. They charge for showers. Please!

This is a very nice campground, with lots of sites! It’s easy to travel around here. This campground is close to a private beach inside park.

The park features a big playground for the kids. The bath houses are fairly clean. There are no activities or no pool at this campground but the beach makes up for it. The sites have no sewer hookups but they do have a dump station on the property. Some of the sites are a bit tight but not too bad. You can still easily fit camper with 2 cars. Each site has a fire pit. You do have to share the water spicket with 4 campers but the water pressure is great.

The campground is quiet, and we had no issues. The State police patrol the campground in vehicles and on horse back often. I would return. Rates are great… $19 a night. If you live in Massachusetts it’s only $17 . Can’t beat that. This is definitely a try once.

We go camping at Bay View every year and it’s always a great visit. It’s immaculate everywhere within the grounds, from the streets to the restrooms. I actually brushed some gravel onto the street once to see what would happen and the maintenance crew swept it up within minutes. It’s one of the only campground on Cape Cod that allows campfires.

My children have always enjoyed their visits. Because we go back each year, they have made many friends in the park because there are many seasonal families there. They have about 400 campsites of which about 150 are transient sites. You can come in anything from a tent or pop-up to a 45′ Motorhome. They do have some sites that are near the highway but if the noise will bother you all you have to do is ask to be away from the road.

They have a small outdoor restaurant that serves great food very quickly. They also have a store with grocery items and an ice cream shop. Their amenities include 3 pools, a rec hall, 2 playgrounds, 2 basketball courts, a tennis court, volleyball court, horseshoes and more. There’s also activities each week for my kids, my husband and myself, as well as a dance each week.

We would highly reccomend this campground to anyone looking for a quiet, enjoyable vacation.

Pinewood Lodge is the perfect family campground. We stayed on a spacious electric and water site, surrounded by huge pine trees.

They offer swimming, boating,and great planned activites for the kids! We were there for Western weekend, which included craft classes and pony rides! They have wi-fi, lake swimming and boating, horseshoes, a rec hall and game room, freshwater fishing, planned activities, boat rentals and a p.layground

The restrooms, as well as the grounds are the cleanest we’ve seen anywhere. Rates are reasonable… we paid $41 for a premium site ( 50 Amp Electric, Water, Sewer and Cable TV) We can’t wait to go back!

We stayed at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Sturbridge, Massachusetts in September 2010. Our kids have always looked forward to staying there because of all the activities and things to do.

For the most part we like it there, although it is a very expensive campground and the sites seem a bit tight. There is a lot to do here. They have good activities and a well stocked store. The RV dump station is very inconveniently located.

We may overnight there again, but that would be it.

Normandy Farms is a classy resort. The place is beautiful, clean, and full of all day activities. The Lodge is spectacular and has a special section for just adults with a gas fireplace, couches, books games, and a pool table. I would recommend this campground to all.

Normandy Farms is pricey but its worth it… a summer night there will cost us over $65.00 a night. Amenities include 4 pools, two are heated and one is indoors. Also there are 3 jacuzzi’s and 2 playgrounds. The snack bar food is great! Sundaes, Fried Clams and Clam Cakes (a New England favorite). Buffalo wings, mozzeralla sticks.

My Grandkids love this place!

I spent a weekend at Sandy Pond Campground and was thoroughly happy with our stay. I am not one to write reviews, however after such a wonderful weekend, I felt that my experience should be shared with others.

The staff were so helpful answering all the questions we had, our children had a wonderful time participating in all the activities and the safety that we felt being here was incredible. During the day and up until 11:00 p.m., the campground is filled with life and it is wonderful be part of this. At 11:00 p.m., the campers respect the quiet hour and the staff are riding in golf carts which made us feel safer. We went kayaking during the day at the pond and my kids were swimming in the pond, which is so clean.
