Normandy Farms Camping Resort - Foxboro, MA
The one word that comes to mind when describing Normandy Farms is “classy”. This campground is right up there with the best of them in the country. From the moment you enter the property you know you’re not in just at another campground. We’ve camped here several times and are always impressed when we visit, […]
Pine Acres Family Camping Resort - Oakham, MA
Just spent a week in Oakham, Massachusetts at Pine Acres and overall was a pretty nice campground but we were a little dissapointed about the lack of activities for the kids. Most everything is closed… from the arcade to the minigolf, except at certain times of the week and there is a lack of staff at this campground. Nice place to go if you don’t have any kids.
Rusnik Family Campground - Salisbury, MA
Rusnik Family Campground is located off US Route 1 and about 3 miles from the beach in Salisbury, Massachusetts. It is a campground with 150 open and wooded sites.
They have a pool, kid’s playground, horseshoes, rec hall, a mini golf course (which could use a little TLC), and laundry facilities. The bathrooms were clean as […]
Winter Island Park - Salem, MA
If you like camping in a parking lot, Winter Island Park is your place to go! It is in located Salem, Massachusetts, and they charge alot! This was originally a Coast Guard post, and still looks like it, minus the campground atmosphere. When we finally found it, we came to a guard house… then we finally found the office, which is in the back of the armory, the people are nice, but don’t seem to be very knowledgeable! They each say you need to talk to another person to get any answers.
Bay View Campgrounds - Bourne, MA
We go camping at Bay View every year and it’s always a great visit. It’s immaculate everywhere within the grounds, from the streets to the restrooms. I actually brushed some gravel onto the street once to see what would happen and the maintenance crew swept it up within minutes. It’s one of the only campground on Cape Cod that allows campfires.
My children have always enjoyed their visits. Because we go back each year, they have made many friends in the park because there are many seasonal families there.
Salisbury Beach State Reservaton - Salisbury, MA
This is a very nice park… Lots of sites! It’s easy to travel around here. This campground is close to a private beach inside park. The park features a big playground for the kids. The bath houses are fairly clean. There are no activities or no pool at this campground but the beach […]
Black Bear Campground - Salisbury, MA
We enjoyed our stay at Black Bear campground. Our children enjoyed the large play ground, two pools and Recreation Hall. We had a full hook up site with cable. Our site was level and a good size. The bath houses and the Laundry room were very clean. We will return.
Normandy Farms Camping Resort - Foxboro, MA
Normandy Farms is an excellent campground. We stayed here in April during a Nor-easter storm. The indoor pool was a blessing for the kids. The Recreation hall was a plus too. We played games with the kids. I only wished they offered shelter in the rec hall during the storm. The camper rocked with heavy […]
Pinewood Lodge Campground - Plymouth, MA
Pinewood Lodge is the perfect family campground. We stayed on a spacious electric and water site, surrounded by huge pine trees. They offer swimming, boating, and great planned activites for the kids! We were there for Western weekend, which included craft classes and pony rides!!! The restrooms, as well as the grounds are the cleanest we’ve seen anywhere.
Black Bear Campground - Salisbury, MA
Black Bear Campground is a “keep away”. There is nothing for kids to do. No activities at all. The pool doesn’t open until 1pm. The campsites are OK and the bath house is clean but the lack of any activities hurts this campground. It’s an OK stopover but if you’re looking for a campground offering […]
