Assateague Island National Park - Assategue Island, MD
(3 visitors have rated this campground.) Loading ...For beach and wildlife lovers, this place is paradise. RV sites have paved pads, and a separate area is reserved for tents only. Another area prohibits the use of generators making it ideal for pop-ups and tents. There is no shade in either the Ocean Front or Bay Front camping areas, so being prepared will make your stay more enjoyable. Facilities are limited to Chemical Toilets and Cold Showers. I used my solar water bag and had a nice warm shower. Canoes are rented during the summer months and there are many possibilities for exploring along various interpretive trails throughout the park.
