We have stayed USI RV Park for two weeks this past summer. The campground is not too bad, but the price is well above average for this quality of park.

The campground is located east of Wichita in a convenient location. They have 79 RV campsites spread over a 20-acre lot. The campsites are gravel, with not much of a patio area. They have wi-fi, a recreation hall, a convenience store and a playground.

There is no scenery and the weekly rates are a bit pricey with electric rates charged on top of that. I think that the reason the rates are a little high is because of the lack of competition. There are no other campgrounds nearby.

Fossil Creek RV Park is a nice small campground. Everything worked and the owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The campground is not real fancy but for a one night stay, it was fine. There was no cable TV and you could only get a few tv stations… that would be my only complaint as we like to check out the weather reports. The park is very quiet with no highway noise. Again, most importantly the owners
were very friendly and helpful.

$20 was reasonable and yes, I would stay again, probably on our next trip to Denver.

Deer Creek Valley RV Park has lots of concrete. It’s a clean, tree lined park but there is no shade and no lounge

The owners did not seem very friendly when I complained about no cable TV. It was 106 degrees and I asked about the lounge and was told it was for the owners only. It takes a couple hours to cool down a camper from road. My general feeling of the park was that it’s not too friendly or helpful.

There is some highway noise. I would never stay here again.

We have stayed at USI RV Park numerious times over the years and have found it to be the cleanest and best maintain park we have ever been in.

The campground is located east of Wichita. They have 79 sites spread over a 20-acre lot. It’s quiet and peaceful with lots of shade from large trees throughout the park. Many of the sites can easily accommodate big rigs, and 68 of the sites are long pull-thrus. All RV sites are full hookups with 30/50 amp service. There are phone jacks at each site too. They also have Wi-Fi and and 2 private rooms with high speed cable modems for guests who are unable to access the Wi-Fi connection.

The campground also has a playground, storage area, 24-hour (air conditioned) laundry, showers, restrooms and a dump station. They are also the only campground in the area that has a storm shelter! They have a nice little camp store that stocks RV supplies, ice, snacks, ice cream and Kansas made products and gifts for guests. The campground staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help with requests and to see that you are a “happy camper”.

USI RV Park is open all year round and they have reasonable rates. We paid $34 a nite. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this park to all of our friends.

With our trailer in tow, we are 69 feet long. Most parks hate to see us pull in and some just wave us on. Mill Creek Campground and RV Park welcomed us… and it was an easy pull through.

We found a nice, quiet spot by the creek with the birds singing and just a short walk to the local little town of Paxico. We loved it and the occasional train coming through was no bother.

The campground has 47 campsites, most equipped with water, sewer, and electricity hook-ups. They also have a few cabins.

This campground is great for any big rig!

We found that Goodland KOA is a great overnight campground. It’s convenient to I-70 yet far enough away to be quiet. We stayed here on the way out west a few weeks ago.

The park has nice landscaping with lots of trees. The rates were reasonable (we are KOA members so we got an extra discount) The facilities were clean and well maintained. The campground employees were very friendly and helpful. Although we only stayed overnight, it made for a comfortable night.

KOAs are generally nice campgrounds and this one is no exception. I would recommend this KOA if you are passing thru the area.

Mill Creek Campground is a small (less than 50 sites) but very nice park with large, level sites and plenty of room. Big rigs are no problem… you can get around the park easily and they have good size pull-thrus.

Mill Creek very clean and well maintained. The campgound is within walking distance of Paxico, a small town that has 7 or 8 antique shops and a little cafe.

There’s no pool, but there is a creek for swimming, tubing and fishing. Amenities also include a playground, picnic pavilion, Bath/shower house, laundry, and hiking trails.

Mill Creek is a great overnight stop with one exception… the campground is located next to a fairly busy railroad line and trains run thru several times a night.

Capital City RV Park is good enough for $25 a night, but they have raised the rates to $28. That is what some of the more up-scale parks around Topeka are asking. Also, I was at my truck at 10:30pm in the dark, closed the door and saw the maintenance man standing near by. He asked me if I found everything I needed. I wondered what he needed. A little concerning, for me at least.I would give this campground 1 star. J Robertson, Grand Ridge, FL

This little campground is right on highway 54/400 in Pratt, Kansas.

The rate here was $23.00 for a Full Hook-up, 50 amp site with free cable, free WiFi, laundry and restrooms. The campground has a pool but it was too cold to use it. There is also a restaurant right there on the property with good home country cooking.

The owners here are lovely people willing to help with anything.We have a large, long 5th wheel with 3 slideouts. Our site was so big we could pull our truck in beside our 5′er with plenty of room.
We will stay here again for sure!
