White River Campground – Cicero, IN
I can’t say enough good things about White River Campground. This is one of the nicest campgrounds that we have found in Indiana.
The property is gated with 24-hour security. The facilities are extremely well maintained. The restrooms are always clean, and the buildings and amenities are in great shape. They have a nice camp store, [...]
Michigan City Campground – Michigan City, IN
In my opinion Michigan City Campground is the worst campground we’re stayed at while on our 4,000 mile journey with the grand-kids.
We made reservations for the shade by the pool area but when we showed up it wasn’t available and we were stuck in a “construction zone”. The grass wasn’t fully in yet so we had weeds, gravel [...]
Indianapolis KOA – Indianapolis, IN
Indianapolis KOA is a very clean park! They have brand new (and very big) deluxe patio sites that can accomadate a very large motorhome.
The campground has many shade trees throughout the property, but we could still receive our satellite = ). They also have wi-fi at this park free of charge! The staff was nice and [...]
Blackhawk Campground – Cloverdale, IN
This is a real campground, not an RV Park. It’s located off the same exit as a state park. Take the state park exit near Cloverdale and follow the Blackhawk signs, it’s well marked.
Good spacing between sites. The full hookup sites aren’t really in the shade, but have trees behind them, so [...]
Indianapolis KOA – Indianapolis, IN
This is one of the nicer KOAs that we’ve stayed at in the midwest. The park has a pleasant country-like setting, located just off interstate I-70, exit 96. We stayed here while attending a NASCAR race at the Indianapolis Speedway.
After you are registered you are personally escorted to your site by a young gentleman on [...]
