I got there about noon, and it wasn’t crowded. Later on a lot more RV’s came in, but the park was not full. The sites are mostly all pull-through, on gravel, with some grass for spacing between the RV’s. Spacing is adequate. The trees aren’t very tall, so there is no shade. If you have one of those expensive surge protectors from Camping World, it will fit here. Water pressure is high, regulators required. If you don’t have a regulator, you can get one from the office for a $10 refundable deposit. Cable is limited, only about 20 channels.

The bathrooms/showers were clean. There were about four bathroom/shower combos, in separate rooms, all unisex, with locks. Tthe laundry was clean. The Wi-Fi worked very well during daytime, but appeared to be shut off, or not available at night. There is a playground for children. They have a nice clubhouse for functions and there is a nice walk a long the river area. Cedars Restaurant is nearby.

This is a good place for overnighting,  but it’s not really a “destination” resort. 

They probably run a “tight ship” here. I don’t like to give 10’s, but this park deserves a 10! This is a beautiful park! I got a personal escort to my site, and help setting up. The host also had a nice brochure showing what was available around Mountain Home.

Nice paved spaces, with plenty of room for tow cars. The slots have a large spread of grass for “spacing” between RV’s. The water faucets are wrapped and insulated for wintertime use. The park has high water pressure and it is highly suggested that you use a regulator. Restrooms/showers/laundry area was shiny and clean! There are four showers, and each is in a private, code locked room.

The park is a nice, brisk walk down from a very nice Wal-Mart, and there is a good Chinese restaurant next door. This is a good park for full-timers if you can handle Idaho winters. Or, it’s a very nice stop over on your way along Interstate 84.

It was late September when we stayed there and we could do an easy drive to Craters of the Moon National Monument. Craters is the best kept secret our nation has. We had an easy time with checking in and out, communications and any of our very simple needs! The staff was so good to us!

The park is located within a short walking distance of a lot of espresso shops, and a brisk walking distance from the Riverwalk area, which has a few restaurants and grills if you don’t feel like cooking. Further, you can walk to the CityLink bus transfer station and catch a bus to events in Coeur d’Alene, or a bus to the casino in nearby Worley.

The RV slots are very close together. Fortunately, it wasn’t full when I was there, but if it were full, you could not put out your awning (but you might be able to put out your slides…). There are w/e/s hookups on both sides of the slots, take your pick. The water faucets are wrapped for winter use. One thing: the sewer is located in such a way that your electric cord and cable cord will lay across your sewer hose unless you manage to pull them up a bit (or use the sewer on the other side by stringing your hose under your rig). Outdoor cooking grills exist in different areas if you wish to barbecue.

The laundry room was very clean and had a sink (but it wasn’t a “deep sink”) for any items you may need to clean by hand. Laundry was $1.25 each for both wash and dry as of this writing. The rest rooms were clean and included a special shower for the “physically challenged.”

The wi-fi worked… fair. If you can’t get the wi-fi to work for you, there seems to be “other” wi-fi networks you can use. I am guessing these other wi-fi’s are coming from the many espresso shops nearby. There is a great pet walking area, and a small fenced children’s play area. Although the park is near the river, you can see the river only if you peek through the open sided train cars that sit on the train tracks.

Nothing fancy here… but they have all the basics and a few nice touches. There’s not much for kids to do but this campground is great for adults who just want to relax and spend a peacefull night… and it’s location makes it a great overnite stopover.

The park was quiet and affordable. Although the property is relatively close to the highway, we really didn’t hear any traffic noise. The facilities were clean and well maintained. They have 75 sites with 20 large pull-thru for big rigs. The sites are very nice.  They are comfortably large, level gravel with a picnic table and a small grass area. The park is family owned and the staff was very friendly when we visited this past fall.

Amenities include free wi-fi. One unusual feature worth mentioning is that they have a vegetable garden and allow RV’ers to pick whatever is ready. The Boise River Festival, Snake River Stampede, and Roaring Springs Water Park are just 15 to 20 minutes away.

It’s a great little campground and we intend to use it whenever we are passing thru the area.

The park is divided into two areas. One overlooks a river, the other does not. Both areas have plenty of well maintained grass areas. Most of the sites are quite large, gravel pull-thrus & back-ins. Interior roads are paved and in good condition.

The campground was very clean, well maintained and quiet. The mature trees throughout the park make the sites nice and cool during the summer. Big rigs can navigate throughout the campground without much trouble as the roads and turns are nice and wide.

We recommend this park and plan on returning the next time we are in the area.

All the facilities are well-maintained and clean. The bathrooms were immaculately clean (was my Mom just here?!) and had totally private shower rooms with a dressing area, seat, and hooks.
Need anything? Just ask… the owners are really nice, very friendly folks who are a lot of fun. Hungry? Grab a pancake & eggs breakfast in the cafe (FREE for overnight RV guests!). Or ribs and smoked potato for dinner.

We had a great stay… and will definitely be back to visit again!

The bad news is… if you come here during the spring, it will take you forever to shake the mud off your shoes and it will take you forever to vacuum it up from your RV floor! The park is on a combo gravel/dirt area. The RV pads are gravel/dirt, with a picnic table at each site. The picnic table is on a barked area, and that is part of the “stuff” you will be shaking off your shoes if you go in the Spring. This park has decent wireless for your internet use. Connection posts are 30 amp service. No cable TV, but there is a good selection of network channels, to include the “ION” channel. The park is located near I-90. If you are at the end near the freeway, you will get road noise all night. The other end was quiet during my stay.

The women’s rest room/shower had washers and dryers. According to the park map, the men’s restroom/shower also had washers and dryers, but I didn’t verify whether or not they were actually there! There is a swimming pool, but it was too early for it to be open when I stayed there.

Good place to overnight while on your way to somewhere….
