You are literally 5 to 10 feet from some other campsites.

The campground has lots of bathrooms and the lake is pretty but the lack of privacy ruined the natural view. We spent all night listening to our drinking neighbors be loud into the wee hours of the night. There are also too many barking dogs, or maybe the dogs were just so close to each other that all they could to is bark at each other.

I felt like I was at a cheap trailer park. I will not be back! Oct-2011

Rain delayed the race, so we extended our stay for 2 days.

The front desk personel were very helpful and friendly. There is no cable TV, and the prices were more expensive for race weekend. The camp sites are very small and you are very close to next site. There is no shade. The bathhouse is clean and climate controled.

The location is easy off/on to I-75. We would go back just because of the closeness to the racetrack, but wouldn’t pick this campground for a camping vacation.

Jenny’s Creek Campground was nice but the tent sites were small, not level, and did not have their own water and electric so you have to share the water and electric with the site next to you.

There were no grates provided for the fire rings. You could buy them at the campground store but they should have been provided or rentable. You could also buy wood at the store but they were sold in batches of 5 pieces for about as much as it would cost you to buy a bag full at the local Ingles but the Ingles bag would have about 4 or 5 times as much wood in it.

Our sites were directly across from the bathrooms (which was nice) but you would have to climb a steep hill to get to them. There were stairs but each step was at least a foot high so they weren’t easy to climb. There were only 2 lamps along the stairs that would light but they were solar powered so, not only were they barely lit but didn’t light for very long at all. As for the bathrooms themselves, you could tell the floors were rarely, if ever, swept/washed and neither hand soap nor paper towels for hand wiping were provided.

We complained to management about there being no grates, hand soap, paper towels and working lighting for the steps and were told that they were not a state park so they did not have to provide any of that and that if we didn’t like it, we could simply move on to another campground.

I do not recommend this campground to anyone because I feel that the management cares more about providing for themselves than providing the customer service that all customers desire and most definitely deserve.

It is nestled between mountains with numerous streams and waterfalls running right through the campground. There are cabins, RV sites (full hookups) and tent sites. There is a playground, fishing pond and an organic farm where fresh vegetables in season are available for purchase plus numerous farm animals for children to visit. Some meals are available on weekends.

The Lodge has a small store and native American jewelry and crafts for sale. This is a very conservation oriented park with a friendly and helpful staff. Numerous attractions are close by including Brasstown Bald Mountain (highest peak in GA), Georgia Mountain Fair, Alpine Helen and numerous natural scenic areas and hiking trails. It is a not-for-profit organiztion and there is no sales tax.

Completely isolated from all other commercial developments, the property is bordered on three sides by National Forest. Great care is taken to preserve the natural environment. Wildlife, flowers, and flowering shrubs are abundant throughout the campground and surrounding area. There are 95 level, shaded, uncrowded campsites with water and electricity. Some sites are pull-through, and about half have sewer hookups as well. Bath houses located in the camping area are clean and equipped with hot showers.

If you’re visiting coastal Georgia, or in need of easy on-off overnight stopover, this campground fits the bill.

The park offers 40 pull-through sites and 10 pull-in back-out sites. All sites are full hookups, including electricity (20, 30 and 50 amp), water, sewer and cable TV. Each site also has a picnic table. Amenities include restrooms, a bathhouse and a laundry, a picnic pavilion for large groups. They also have free wi-fi throughout the campground.

The facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful and the manager lives onsite. We paid $27 a night, which I feel is very reasonable. Road noise is noticeable, being this close to the Interstate, but not that bad.

There are a few restaurants within walking distance (Waffle House, McDonald’s and Dairy Queen). There’s also a large outlet mall and more restaurants about a 1/2 mile away on the other side of I-95.

Enota is one of those places.

It was apparent from my first visit that the purpose of Enota was to offer a safe and friendly place for people to experience nature, to help preserve that nature and to teach by example that we can live in harmony with the earth. Unfortunately we are not overrun with places like Enota. In the many years that I have been camping, I’ve not found any place in the country that comes even close.

Enota is a place of hope, peace and harmony.

The campground has a nice general store surrounded by a 1500 sq. ft. porch with swings & rocking chairs. It’s absolutely perfect after a hectic day on I-95. Our site was large and level, with plenty of room.

The staff was very friendly and the property is clean and well maintained. They have a nice pond where you can just sit and watch the ducks swim by. They even have free wi-fi, which is great for us to keep in touch with our friends and family while traveling.

I recommend this campground for anyone who wants a quiet, end of day retreat after a day of Interstate driving.
