There is nothing more relaxing than sitting by the warm waters of Florida Bay and listening to the seagulls while the sun sets magnificently over the bay. The campground is small but it’s a nice, cozy place to stay and away from all the hussle and bussle of bigger campgrounds.

Every site includes Water, Sewer, Electricity, Internet, and Cable. Pets are welcome with a one-time fee of $25. There is a daily fee of $10.00 or a $75.00 monthly fee for use of boat ramp and dock.

They have a great staff  (but limited office hours in the summer as it is “off-season) and a lovely park with a few pull thrus and mostly back-ins.  The campground has mostly year round or seasonal mobile homes with maybe 2 dozen sites for transients. The sites are concrete and have a picnic table. There is free wi-fi and full cable tv. Great water pressure and voltage too. They also have a large pool with 2 air conditioned bath houses. The campground is within walking distance to the beach and a nice shopping center with restaurants, deli, and grocery store. a shell gas station is on the corner and has the lowest price in the area.

We are here in July and the rate is just $33. per nite. Weekly prices are available too. Woodalls has this with a high rating and I agree. This resort is a definite winner for this area. We will be back again.

Our site was a large pull through on a concrete patio across from the immaculate pool and rec area. The utilities were up to date and easy to hook up. The sites were well treed and provided shade. The front part of the resort is for daily guests while the back part is for permanent or snowbirds with some park models. Everyone was smiling and greeting so I assume everyone felt just about the same as I did. We stayed 3 nights in a motor home with our 90lb Giant Schauzer, Buddy. Everyone is well pet friendly.

We toured the area including the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs. We took Buddy to the dog beach at Honeymoon Island State Park which is just down the road. Across the street is the Pinnellas bicycle trail which is paved and 46 miles long. We will be coming back to this area and definitely staying at Dunedin RV Resort again.

What I also like about this park is that everyone knows everyone so its like one big happy family and everyone just gets along so well.  My favorite part about this place is the view of the water, almost all the sites are very close to the eater, and during the sunset, you can see how beautifully the sun sets quickly into the horizon.

The beach and the water here is amazing and very relaxing. Also the sites are totally hooked up and the park even has wi-fi for thos that are working and need internet.

Overall its a very nice enviornment and I definetly recommend it to everyone!

In my opinion the park is not well maintained. Many trees that their leaves cover you RV and drop acorns constantly. I did luckily meet a few very nice people while I was there.  The activity director couple were not very friendly to renters that I could see. Planned no real activities but ice cream socials and cards.

I would not come back until they fix their problems and get rid of the camper in site 237.

When we pulled into the campground we were excited. They had pretty grounds and views of the river. The cabins looked nice but always felt damp. The beds were hard and the fans squeaked if you used them. So we had to turn them off. Most cabins are connected to one another and you can hear every movement your neighbor makes.

We went here because of the heated pool but it was still very cold and the Jacuzzi was a green color. The river and docks were very well maintained and the grounds were as well. Friends stayed in their camper and they said it was a nice site for their RV with the sewer and electric hook ups.

I do not recommend going there though if you have children under the age of 15. The staff and owners responded to every sound and movement the kids made. They weren’t allowed to have fun in the pool or playing on the grounds. We got disciplined if we had the doors open for the breeze, if they ran down the road playing, if they walked through an empty camp site, etc.

Do not take your dogs unless you will be with them 24/7 and they are quiet as well. You must also buy their fire wood so do not bring any or they will back you get it off the grounds ASAP. Don’t move their picnic tables either or you will be fined.

This is a private campground and they enforce every rule and there are a lot. To bad to because it was a beautiful place.

It’s a very clean, quite campground with an Olympic size pool. The park has lots of shade due to huge oak trees. The staff was very nice and very helpful. Electric, Sewer and Water was not an issue. It’s a nice park for all age groups. All grassy spots have new sod. The store sells needy items besides propane. It’s also close to Cracker Barrel and other restaurants. The campground has two ponds with lots of ducks. The Bingo hall is huge. The kitchen and laundry are well maintained.

Overall, this is a good place for both vacationers and snow-birds. I stayed with my wife and friends for a week in December 2009. I would recommend this camp to all and probably we’ll be going there next holidays in our Motor home.

They have new asphalt at the entrance, a new clubhouse, a workout gym that is fully loaded and more. The staff is great, they escorted us to your site, offered to hook us up and let us know what is going on in the area.

Everyone waves and says hello, people stop and take the time to welcome you to the area. They are making improvements every day, from landscaping, remodeling buildings and expanding their services. Looks like they are going into the mail forwarding business and pack and ship. They even have a notary on staff, she was teasing us about renewing our vows at the park (maybe if I can talk my husband into it we will the next time there)!

If you are ever in the area make sure you stop and see the park and meet the staff!

Getting in and out of this RV Park is extremely dangerous due to the traffic patterns and flow especially for larger rigs. The sites were well spaced and some had trees, but navigation on the narrow roads in the campground was very difficult for our longer fifth wheel. All sites had grass (no gravel) which was nice, but it was very difficult for us to actually get out of our site the day we left due to no traction on the grass in the rain.

Most rigs were newer, some are permanent and there are work crew campers also. This is a 1950s RV Campground that shows it’s age everywhere. Nothing is terrible, just worn. The bath and showers were adequate, but all were in need of a full face lift and more frequent cleaning

We would suggest name change for this RV Park. Something like the “Southern Discomfort RV Resort.” We will never go back there and have never seen such a total lack of respect for customers at any RV Park before.

They are off the beaten path and they have so much going for them with big beautiful sites under huge old growth oak trees, but the bugs are bad. Also be very careful if you stay there for a month. It’s $400 for the month – plus $52 in taxes for 2 people plus electric. Their electric is outrageous. My 36′ fifth wheel – had the refrigerator on gas for 2 weeks, electric for 2 weeks and air off and on only 1 week and tv off and on, water heater on gas – and the electric bill upon check out was $85 for one person, 30 days. The manager told me upon check out it was the taxes. My kids were there 2 days in October and their electric bill was $35.

I met some people who came in from Montana for a month but decided to only stay for a week.

They have a lot to learn if they are going to call themselves a resort.
