The interior roads are unpaved and the sites are gravel. The campground has two Swimming Pools (May 18 – September 16), a well-stocked camp store, a 9 hole mini golf, a fishing pond, a jumping pillow, bike rentals, an outdoor cinema, and hay wagon rides. They have free wi-fi too!

Most sites are drive-thrus. Sites are a little small and close together. Some of the grassy sites are located near the highway and you can hear traffic noise. The location is great though, close to Rhode Island and Connecticut beaches, Mystic Seaport and Foxwoods Casino.

Wilderness Lake has RV and Tent sites that are on the water, rustic, open, or wooded. They also offer On-site park model rentals. Rates are about $45 for RV sites

They do not have any planned activities on non-holiday weekends. The Playground is newer but kids were bored with it quickly. They have no sewer hookups, but they do have a dumping station. Electric and rusty water hookups available.

There is a free to use canoe and paddleboat available. A lot of tents camping on the weekend we were there. I would reccommend this camp site if you were looking to get away from it all. One more thing… they do not take any kind of plastic! That means no Credit Cards or Debit Cards, so bring some cash.

Facilities were very very clean and the owners very helpful. The grounds are well maintained and very attractive, and surrounded by scenic lakes and hills. Aces High is a little on the expensive side. Nonetheless it’s a very comfortable campground to stay at and a great basecamp to see the area and visit the casinos (bring some extra money!).

The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and well maintained. While there were quite a few seasonal sites, most were exceptionally well taken care of and did not detract from our experience.

The property is level and not difficult to negotiate with larger rigs. They have a good mix of pull-thru, open meadow, wooded and waterfront sites. The campstore has a limited selection of groceries and camping supplies.

Brialee is relatively easy to get to. It’s about 10 miles off I-84, exit 69. Our family camped here this past July and intent to make it one of our first outings next summer.

My family plans on going back for our 2nd year with them. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.  We are thinking of bringing more family with us this year, so we’ll be looking also into either their park model rentals or log cabin rentals also.

The place is just a wonderful place for all ages!

The sites are a comfortable size and each has a 30 amp hookup, water, grey water receptacle for sink and shower, a picnic table and fire ring. Some sites are shady, some are open and grassy. If water is your preference then you can get a site by their duck pond! Big rigs should be no problem.

There are plenty of things to do here too. Salem Farms has two pools, bocce, volleyball, badminton, basketball, horseshoes, tennis courts and shuffleboard. Nearby are a number of lakes and ponds for fishing or boating.

Our family stayed here last summer and really enjoyed it. We have recommended it to several of our friends and plan to stop back next year.

I wish they would cater a little more to the regular campers, they seem to favor the seasonal sites and they are slowly filling up the park with them. That is very disappointing to me as I have been going here for 15 years and would love to continue going for a lot more.

The cabins are adorable. They are rustic but have all the things you need… a bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. The activities were amazing here! The staff was too! We loved it here and do tell everyone to book at Stateline. The pool was so clean and blue. The grounds well kept and neat. The bathrooms were always clean. We LOVE this park and recommend it to all RVBuddy campers.

This campground has a recreational hall in which they were hosting a function which included a loud DJ and lots of people screaming. As any camper knows, sound travels greatly through a campground. We were sitting around our campfire at about 9:30pm, trying to relax a little in between the blaring music and people screaming, when I finally called the office to find out when the function was going to end (figuring it would end at 10:00pm as stated in their own rules).

The man at the office, which I believe was the owner of the campground, stated the function was going on until midnight!! We tried to sit by the campfire and ignore the noise a little longer but it just got worse. We called the desk and the man starting screaming at us that we were complaining and told us to leave the campground (hilarious……we got kicked off a campground because the owner was mad because he wasn’t following his own rules!)

By the time we packed up and left, at 10:20 pm, the music and partying continued just as loud as it was earlier. Please be aware of this campground. Apparently any rules they state they follow on their own campground are not the rules they actually follow. The quiet hours do not begin at 10pm as stated. Loud partying is allowed until midnight!

This is not a place for relaxation. It’s like camping next to a dance club.

The staff and fellow campers are what made our experience so great. There was an activities person at the door when we arrived who offered us coffee and donuts (for FREE!). She gave us an activities schedule and personally made us aware of everything that was going on over the weekend. The staff was friendly and fun. This is the place to bring your children and just kick back! The pool is new, huge and so CLEAN!

We were hoping for a great time and are thankful that Stateline and it’s staff gave us one! Jack
