Strawberry Park - Preston, CT
I enjoy camping at Strawberry Park, they offer a lot of activities and amenities. They are a little expensive but with all they have to offer you can see why.
I wish they would cater a little more to the regular campers, they seem to favor the seasonal sites and they are slowly filling up […]
Stateline Campresort and Cabins - East Killingly, CT
We also loved this campground! Stateline Campresort and Cabins is located on Route 101 near the Connecticut/Rhode Island state line in East Killingly, Connecticut.
The cabins are adorable. They are rustic but have all the things you need… a bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. The activities were amazing here! The staff was too! We loved it here and do tell everyone to book at Stateline. The pool was so clean and blue. The grounds well kept and neat. The bathrooms were always clean.
Wilderness Lake Campground & Resort - Willington CT
I would never stay at this campground again! On their website, which looked like a nice campground, they post the campground rules and regulations of which they state “Quiet hours will be maintained between the hours of 10pm and 8 am”.
This campground has a recreational hall in which they were hosting a function which included […]
Stateline Campresort - East Killingly, CT
We found Stateline Campresort to be one of the best campgrounds in New England! The park is slightly older but you can clearly see that sites are being updated and revamped. There are new sites with new electric, new picnic tables and new fire rings.
The staff and fellow campers are what made our experience so great. There was an activities person at the door when we arrived who offered us coffee and donuts (for FREE!). She gave us an activities schedule and personally made us aware of everything that was going on over the weekend. The staff was friendly and fun.
Salem Farms Campground - Salem, CT
We weekend camped at Salem Farms Campground for two years. The new owners are great people. Brian and Teresa work very hard for their campers.
The park is clean and well maintained and the bathrooms are awesome. They have new playgrounds this year. Wow! Salem Farms Campground is truly a family park. Family owned and operated.
Wilderness Lake Campground & Resort - Willington CT
Wilderness Lake is a nice campground if you are looking for peace and quite. They do not have any planned activities on non-holiday weekends. The Playgound is newer but kids were bored with it qucikly. They have no sewer hookups, but they do have a dumping station. Electric and rusty water hookups available.
There is a […]
Highland Orchards Resort Park - N. Stonington, CT
Highland Orchards is conveniently located just off I-95, exit 92. The facilities are nice and the property and amenities are well maintained. The interior roads are unpaved and the sites are gravel, so there is a tendency for it to be very dusty.
Sites are a little small and close together. Some of the grassy sites […]
Aces High RV Park - East Lyme, CT
Aces High is a very nice campground. Sites are open and level and they have some extra long pull-throughs for big rigs. Interior roads are gravel with excellent turning room for big rigs. Because the roads are gravel, it can get a little dusty.
Facilities were very very clean and the owners very helpful. The grounds […]
Salem Farms Campground - Salem, CT
Salem Farms Campground is set in a beautiful rural area. It is family owned and operated. There are numerous activities planned throughout the day to keep the kids busy. My husband and I stayed there two years ago and this year bought a ParkHome to spend our summers at Salem Farm Campground.
The family is very […]
