The campground has all pull thru sites which was very nice after a long day on the road. The campground was pretty quiet, although they do have railroad tracks within a 1/2 mile of the campground they did not blow their whistles so not really a bother. The free wifi was pretty fast and a strong signal. The pool was lovely with a new deck and nice pool furniture.

The only other thing is the people working there were very nice and helped me with a problem I had with my fiver. Even letting me use personal tools.

The biggest problem at this campground was the electricity. We have had trouble with campgrounds in the past so are very cautious of the electric meter we keep plugged in. The power fluctuated from 100 to 125 depending on who of your neighbors were using their air or washers, etc. We didn’t use ours – we have learned the hard way!

This is a nice area – south of St. George UT and Northeast of Mesquite, NV. But I wouldn’t stay here again!

Voyager RV Resort is one of the nicest campgrounds that we’ve stayed in in the past several years. This is a huge park (over 1500 sites!) with lots of amenities.The park is well managed and the staff is friendly. Most of the campers are snowbirds and many of the sites are very well maintained and appear to be occupied by permanent RVs. This is considered to be a “destination resort”. The park is gated and has excellent security.

One of the nice amenities here is a full service restaurant right on the premises. Our campsite was large and roomy and easy to get in and out of. Amenities are too numerous to mention… a medical office, arts & crafts, live entertainment, indoor and outdoor pools/spas, shuffleboard, horseshoes, game rooms, beauty and barber shop, lounge, market… Oh, I almost forgot… WiFi wireless internet is available throughout the park!

It’s a great place for a full-timer to call home and a great place to spend the winter. I recommend this park if you’re in the area.

Everything here is well maintained. It’s a gated entrance, right of of I-10, easy on and off with a very efficent system and staff. We arrived without reservations the first time… the gate keeper called the office and we were taken to a site via personal in golf carts within 5 minutes. They have seperate sections for dog owners also.

All sites have full hook up, including cable TV. And, for $2 a day more, phone for any amount of stay. They also have a golf course, many laundry and shower locations… every ammenty available. They also have a hotel for guests, just in case you don’t have room in the RV. Voyager Resort also has a post office, spa, restaurant, doctor & clinic, a great grocery store, a travel agency, a bank, and night time trips to the desert. You can wash your RV there also.

The sites were slightly narrow where we were, but LONG and side walks all along the site. We had no problems with our 33ft. 5th wheel with 2 slides and awning at all. Hookups are well placed. There are upgraded sites with w/d & BBQ pit also. Staff is great and quick. Security was very helpful and you can bike around the entire place and into their other sections of homes and use the pool there also as its all part of the place. They also have another RV resort in the mountains for the summer times when Tuscon is to hot.

We visited it also and it’s smaller, but know it will be just as nice when done. We will be staying there every time we pass that way.

They are really cheap too! We paid less than $20 a night… and pet-friendly! We were very happy staying there this past winter. They are open all year.

There is lots to see and do nearby including shopping, 4 golf courses, a number of casinos, museums, and a living ghost town in nearby Oatman. The Mojave National Preserve is also worth a visit.

Evidently there has been no manager for a while and as a result the workers are really slack in their duties. They stand around talking and drinking coffee with the ladies behind the desk. The gardeners congregate and chit chat quite a lot also.

Our friend said this was a 5 star park. Right now it seems more appropriate to rate it around 3 stars. In the park handout, the rules state no working on your vehicle(s), yet this one person seems to be allowed to work on his truck in front of his 5th wheel with nothing being said from the office. This same person also needs to learn some RV etiquette. He thought nothing of yelling across the park at one of the employees riding in a cart. Not one time, but several so far.

This park is owned by the Apache Nation, who also own the casino & lodge across the highway. It surprises us that those establishments are run so efficiently, but this place isn’t. Why? We’ll be updating our friend about this park.

There are numerous beautiful pine trees throughout the property and the campground looks clean and well maintained but the whole place is just too crowded.

We paid thirty dollars a night for a nice spot close to the clubhouse. The facilities are what impressed us in the past, but now are not so spotless as before. It seems as though the groundskeepers drive around alot rather than work on the grounds themselves.

My favorite is still the Casino right across the interstate from the Resort & Sedona is approximately a 25 mile drive North. Cottonwood has a WalMart & Fry’s Grocery store that we take advantage of when we’re in this part of the State. We did have one loud experience we were not told about when we arrived. It seems the Casino put on a concert & the speakers must’ve been facing our direction! It was similar to a car driving by with it’s stereo turned up full blast. It only lasted for 4 hours, but it would’ve been nice to be forewarned. We’ll still camp here in the future, but with less expectations as in the past.

There are 2,005 total RV sites and Resort Homes, and they can accommodate RV’s up to 40’. Amenities include full hookups, FREE Wi-Fi Hot Spots at the community center, a library, and game room. They also have a woodshop, lapidary, silver smithing, tennis, shuffleboard, horseshoes, BBQ patio, batting cages, volleyball, barber & beauty shop, billiard room, and a laundry. There’s also an onsite Cafe and music room.

The only thing I found disappointing is that there was not more concern for recycling. With all the plastic bottles that the people in Arizona use – have they not heard about the landfills?

They are located about 11 miles from Gold Canyon and 18 miles from Scottsdale.
