The campground is not within walking distance of any attractions. There is no cable TV and no phone and there appeared to be questionable inhabitants in the park.  The trailer that I stayed in has been broken into; gasket removed from the window and glass taken out. Previous occupant of the trailer that I stayed in had moved out and kept the key to the one that I stayed in.

The manager stays in a dilapidated 5th wheel and does little to monitor what actually goes. I do not recommend this RV park… I do not feel safe and it is not family-friendly.

The setting is beautiful. Logan Landing has its own private lake and some of the sites are on Logan Martin Lake. There is a clubhouse, a large swimming pool and a swimming beach. You are allowed to fish for free at the private lake. There is no swimming in the private lake.

The sites are shady and were more than large enough to accommodate our 39′ 5th wheel and dually truck. The site had a cement patio with a picnic table and a grill. The RV park was very clean as were the showers, restroom and laundry. The campground has a gated entry and the park is very peaceful. The staff is very friendly and helpful and accommodating.

We will definitely camp there again and look forward to it.

Facilities and features include RV and tent camping, cabin rentals, playground, bath house, laundry, lake fishing, river fishing, launch ramp, covered boat slip rentals, houseboat dockage, bait and tackle, limited groceries and canoe rentals. The Marina is located at the end of Dead Lake Road.

The campground contains full hook-up RV sites, tent sites, and cabins. A swimming pool, playground, and a lake stocked with bluegill and bass is available for campers only use. There is also a laundry and bathhouse centrally located within the campground. Free use of the boat launch is included for registered campers.

Rates are very resonable… $18 for RVs and $10 for tents. Cabins are only $30. Boat slips for small boats are available for rent at the lowest prices you will find anywhere, $20 in most cases, while accommodations for any size houseboat or cruiser may be arranged to dock overnight or stay on a monthly basis. Security guards are on duty 24 hours to watch over the boat docks and the campground area.

The campground is gated and secure. Interior roads are paved and in good condition. The sites are level and a comfortable size. The campground has some great hiking and mountain biking trails. The park has a nice campstore with a good selection of groceries and camping supplies.

There is lots to see and do in and around the Huntsville area. We would definitely camp here again.

The Wi-Fi signal was excellent every time we used it. This is a great park with great owners and we will definitely stay here again.

See all the sites the area has to offer. But back to the park… the folks their are friendly and very helpful. Amenities include: large ( 43’x 92’ ) pull thru sites, level sites with concrete pads and picnic tables, laundry facilities, men’s & women’s restrooms/showers, a community room, peaceful walking trails through 12 acres of beautiful woods, and WI-FI throughout the park.

This park is a great place to stay. So if your a passin’ through stop in and stay a while. Gaye and Burt the owners will welcome you just like family.

Campsites a good size and are on level concrete pads. Some are full hook-ups with cable TV. All facilities are very clean and well maintained.

Noccalula Falls Park has a beautiful 90′ waterfall, botanical gardens, hiking trails, a sightseeing train, playground, and mini golf. There are plenty of walking trails throughout the park and plenty for the kids to do. The pool area is great, and there is well stocked campstore with a good selection of groceries and camping supplies.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even after closing when we arrived late at night. The roads were black top and the sites had level black top RV pads as well. The full hook-up utilities were in good shape and well positioned on the site. Local TV reception from Huntsville was very good. There were plenty of trees so the sites were completely shaded. The sites were very large and roomy. There was plenty of privacy between sites.

The rest rooms were decent, but were the typical state park flavor. This was not an issue for us because we were using the full hook-ups.
There was a great swimming hole over at the day area. Only problem here was you had to drive to get to it because it was too far to walk with lawn chairs, towels, ice chest etc.

Price was $19 per night.

The facilties are clean and convenient to the camp sites. There is a laundromat and separate men/womens bathhouse. There is a new pull through area that is in a beautiful setting overlooking a nearby pond. There is plenty of good fishing and hunting in the area with wildlife management areas all around and the river just down the hill.
