Vail Lake Village & RV Resort - Temecula, CA
Vail Lake Village and Resort is a very nice campground. There’s plenty of things to do for kids including a pool, scooters, bikes, and mini golf. The resort is divided into two different camping areas. The lower section is all dirt with lots of tall oak trees. The upper section is partially shaded with lots of open, grass areas.
This seems to be a campground that appeals to serious mountain bikers because there are always a good number of them camping here. This is a great place to stay for a few days.
The staff is very friendly and treat you like you’re one of the family. There’s a nice little bar/restaurant and a great deli. There’s an video arcade for kids too.
I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends frequently.

We drove our RV all the way to Vail Lake after making online reservations and getting an email confirmation for the site reserved. Upon arriving to the campground we were told the “the site we reserved is un available”. WHAT? All they had left was 1 site that was in an all dirt area with 1 fire ring to be shared with by 3 sites. Not to mention the site was so close to each other that you were pretty much on top of each other. So I said no way! They said that there is a “glitch” in there system and this had happened to other people. They have NO WAY of knowing if a site was reserverd on line so they can just give it away to anyone else that shows up before you check in. What a complete waste of gas and time. They did refund our money but it killed our whole weekend as we had no other place to go.
I will never camp at Vail Lake and I will be sure to let all my friend know to do the same.

We stayed at this RESORT for a week during September. This place is great, we went down the water slides and went biking and had lots of fun. This is one resort I would return to. We rented in RV from http://www.albertsrvrental.com they were great also. Between the resort and rv rental place it was like stayin at the Ritz. ****stars from me!!!!
