The park is slightly older but you can clearly see that sites are being updated and revamped. There are new sites with new electric, new picnic tables and new fire rings.

The staff and fellow campers are what made our experience so great. There was an activities person at the door when we arrived who offered us coffee and donuts (for FREE!). She gave us an activities schedule and personally made us aware of everything that was going on over the weekend. The staff was friendly and fun. This is the place to bring your children and just kick back! The pool is new, huge and so CLEAN!

We were hoping for a great time and are thankful that Stateline and it’s staff gave us one! Jack

Most sites are comfortably large, level and have plenty of shade… the property is covered with pine and oak trees. The main interior roads are paved and the remainder are gravel. All sites are full hook-up, 60 pull through and 20 back in.

Facilities include a large meeting room, laundry, centrally located heated bath facilities, and free Wi-Fi. The property and facilities were clean and well maintained.

This exit has quite a few restaurants and shopping… including two large outlet malls… and you’re within walking distance to some of them.

Rates were a little on the high side when you consider other campgrounds in the area, but it’s a great location as an overnight stopover. We paid $38 a night for our 30 amp full hook-up pull-through.

If you’re visiting coastal Georgia, or in need of easy on-off overnight stopover, this campground fits the bill.

The park offers 40 pull-through sites and 10 pull-in back-out sites. All sites are full hookups, including electricity (20, 30 and 50 amp), water, sewer and cable TV. Each site also has a picnic table. Amenities include restrooms, a bathhouse and a laundry, a picnic pavilion for large groups. They also have free wi-fi throughout the campground.

The facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful and the manager lives onsite. We paid $27 a night, which I feel is very reasonable. Road noise is noticeable, being this close to the Interstate, but not that bad.

There are a few restaurants within walking distance (Waffle House, McDonald’s and Dairy Queen). There’s also a large outlet mall and more restaurants about a 1/2 mile away on the other side of I-95.

The campground is located about 1/2 mile west of I-95, exit 223 in Mims, Florida. It’s just far enough away from I-95 so you won’t hear much road noise.

The resort consists of 5 distinct camping areas. “The Groves” is an area surrounded by citrus trees, with sites for Class A and Class C motor homes. “The Hammocks” and “The Woods” are two areas tucked away in the woods, with sites for motor homes, fifth wheels and travel trailers. “The Palms” is an area with extra large sites and a tropical feel. “Circle the Wagons” is a rally centrally located in the park but allows you the feeling of being “off to yourselves”.

All sites have hookups for sewer and water, 50/30/20 amp electric, telephone, modem and cable ready. All sites have WiFi. Amenities include private bathhouses, laundromats, tennis courts, shuffle board, nature trails, and planned activities. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful.

They have a 6000 sq. ft. clubhouse that includes outdoor swimming & lap pools (heated in winter), two spas, a library area, exercise equipment, a full kitchen, TV, billiard area, and a dance floor. (Clubhouse is closed off season 5/1-10/31).

This is a nice campground to spend a few days at. Mims is a short drive from the Atlantic Ocean beaches and Kennedy Space Center, so there’s plenty to keep you occupied during your stay. I recommend Seasons in the Sun to my fellow I-95 travelers!

The staff is friendly. Restrooms and showers are clean. It’s a neat, attractive and well maintained campground. Not much to do though, this seems to be more of an overnite stop for I-95 travelers.

It’s the first RV Park on I-95 south of the Georgia-Florida border.

They cater mostly to large RV’s passing thru the area. They have 183 level concrete pull-through sites. All sites have full hookup including water, electricity, cable, sewer, and free wi-fi.

Their facilities are clean and well maintained. They have a small store, laundry facilities, a pool with a sun deck and a club house with full kitchen and barbeque grills. The campground is located next to the Pecan Park Flea & Farmer’s Market, North Florida’s largest flea market attraction (Open Sat & Sun from 8AM to 5PM). A few minutes away is Jacksonville Municipal Stadium (home of the NFL’s Jaguars), Jacksonville Zoo, Downtown Jacksonville and the University of Florida. World renowned championship golf courses are nearby as well as an Anheuser-Busch brewery.

Rates are reasonable, about $40 a night. They honor Good Sam, FMCA, AAA, CAA & AARP members too so you can get a discount. We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years and have never had a bad experience.

Pecan Park RV Resort makes a good overnight stopover or a base to Visit Jacksonville and the nearby attractions.

The marina offers docks, gasoline, wet and dry storage, bait, and a boat ramp. The campground provides hookups on shaded lots or waterfront sites. Also available are cabins, a Laundromat, showers, and storage. They have a small convenience store and a large pavilion. The interior roads are dirt throughout the property. The marina is located on Trout Creek, a tributary of the St. Johns River.

Rates are reasonable. $30 for 30/50 amp site, and $35 for a waterfront site.

It’s definitely an older “well established” campground that has seen better days. I wouldn’t consider this an RV resort by any stretch of the imagination. It does have that laid back southern fish camp atmosphere and charm, if that’s what you’re looking for.

We stayed here last fall on our way down to Florida. The campground is mostly wooded and has both open and shady sites. Our site was large and level but walking around I could see that others weren’t. Interior roads are mostly paved.

Some of their amenities include: Free Wifi, a heated pool, Free Cable TV, Kamping Kabins, a fishing pond, paddle boats, a playground, horseshoes, a small camp store (with ice, firewood, groceries and RV supplies), a large recreation hall, a laundry and private showers.

There was a nice atmosphere for a campground so close to I-95. The campground staff was very friendly. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The rates were a little on the high side, but I think it was worth it.
