Bill Monroe’s Memorial Campground is one of the friendliest parks we have been to in a long time! The host, the fulltimers & even the daytimers are welcoming and helpful. We felt right at home here.

The park is in a nice location in Bean Blossom about 6 miles from the city of Nashville and lots of great shopping. It’s worth a trip to the Nashville Opry while you’re there as well. It seems there’s most always Blue Grass pickin’ going on for free entertainment and a flea market alongside the campgrounds.

I recommend this campground to all my friends and we try to make it a regular stop every summer.

Sleepy Hollow is a nice little campground located on a small lake in Oxford, Iowa… near Iowa City and Cedar Rapids.

Many of the sites are terraced and surround the lake. We camped here in 2007 with our 38′ class A. We found that a good portion of the sites were too short for our rig but there were some pull thrus that were just fine.

The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. On holiday weekends, the campground has haysack rides for the kids, movies at night, and some craft activities. There is also a basketball court, playground, volleyball court, horseshoes, and free fishing.

There are several area attractions in the area including Amana Colonies (12 miles away), the Williamsburg Outlet Mall (10 miles away), and Kalona, a working amish community (10 miles away).

This is a great family campground and I recommend it to my friends
