Loading ...Monte Sano State Park is a very nice, peaceful campground located on top of a mountain overlooking the city of Huntsville.
The campground is gated and secure. Interior roads are paved and in good condition. The sites are level and a comfortable size. The campground has some great hiking and mountain biking trails. The park has a nice campstore with a good selection of groceries and camping supplies.
There is lots to see and do in and around the Huntsville area. We would definitely camp here again.

Monte Sano state park has some excellent bike trails and offers good views of the city. It is a unique part of the area that is well worth a visit.
