Campground Reviews for July, 2008
New River Trail RV Park - Fries, VA
We have stayed at New River Trail RV Park on numerous occasions this year and can honestly state that it is one of the nicest RV parks we’re ever stayed in. When we camped at other parks in the area we were always ready to leave after a couple of days. But there is just […]
Rest-A-While RV Resort - Hoodsport, WA
This is a nice RV park right on Puget Sound with its own private beach. Some sites are about 10 foot from the water, others are set back in the woods nestled in the trees. Beach front sites are pull-thru, most of the forest sites are back-in.
The winter storms last year (07) took a toll […]
Durango Riverside Resort - Durango, CO
Durango Riverside Resort is located 12 miles north of Durango, Colorado on US Route 550. The campground property is right on the Animas riverfront, but you are quite a distance from town.
The campground has RV and tent campsites, plus 19 rental cabins. WI-FI wireless internet access is available for a fee and cable TV hookups […]
Camping on the Gulf - Destin, FL
We recently stayed at Camping on the Gulf Holiday Travel Park in Destin, Florida. The people that assisted us at the check-in process were very friendly and the process was fast. We were escorted by beach patrol, as there called, to our designated spot. Throughout the property there is a 4 1/2 MPH speed limit. […]
Lake Huron Campground - Port Sanilac, MI
Lake Huron Campground is a great, brand new RV resort located right on Lake Huron. They have brand new facilities and lots of activities for the kids.
We rented a golf cart and had a great time over the 4th of July holiday. Their fireworks display was awesome! The property doesn’t have alot of trees yet, […]
Riverside RV Park and Cabins - Lone Wolf, OK
We had a horrible time at Riverside RV Park campground. The roads are very curvey and hard for big campers to get into the campground and the path leading to the campground is less than attractive.
Tree Farm Campground - Springfield, VT
Tree Farm is a small campground located just east of Springfield, in the southeastern portion of Vermont. The property is located in mostly mature white pine forest. The interior roads are gravel throughout the campground and the sites are quite large. The majority of sites are full-hookup and the price is reasonable ($26 a night). […]
Sandy Beach RV Resort - Contoocook, NH
One of our camping friends recommended Sandy Beach RV Resort to us this past winter so we decided to give them a try a few weeks ago. I must say we were quite disappointed.
First of all, if you have a larger rig you’ll find it extremely difficult navigating through the park. This appears to be […]
Champlain Adult Campground - Grand Isle, VT
This campground is terrible. No one should ever go there! Now, if you believe that, perhaps this fantastic place will never fill up and we can always get a spot here.
If you are coming from New York, take the ferry from Plattsburg. When you get off the ferry turn left and go down the road […]
Pony Express RV Resort - North Salt Lake City, UT
What beautiful mountain Views! While visiting in North Salt Lake city we stayed at the Pony Express RV Resort. While the mountains were beautiful the camp ground was far that.
The poor attitude of the management sent us down the road to the next camp ground “toot sweet”. I felt like they didn’t like kids, […]
