Quechee Gorge State Park – Quechee, VT

Quechee Gorge State Park has no hook-ups, but campsites are huge and most of them shaded by large white pines. Most of the sites are so large that they could comfortably fit two more between each one. Our site this year was backed deep within the pines (see the photo below)

Oak Plantation is a very nice campground located in John’s Island, near Charleston, South Carolina. The park was beautifully maintained and almost all of the sites were in the shade. We just returned from a wonderful weekend stay at Three Island Crossing State Park. This was our third time here (we camped here the past two summers). This was a very nice campground!
