Campground Reviews for March, 2008
Strawberry Park - Preston, CT
I enjoy camping at Strawberry Park, they offer a lot of activities and amenities. They are a little expensive but with all they have to offer you can see why.
I wish they would cater a little more to the regular campers, they seem to favor the seasonal sites and they are slowly filling up […]
Danforth Bay Camping Resort - Freedom, NH
Danforth Bay Camping Resort appears to be a relatively new campground located in northeastern New Hampshire near the Maine border.
What a wonderful place to stay! Although we stayed there for a week last fall, we didn’t want to leave. The campground has great facilities, well maintained and very clean. The staff is friendly, courteous and […]
Suncrest RV Resort - Moses Lake, WA
I’m sure this is a great park in the summer. During wintertime (I’m guessing this would be the period of October - March), the park has reduced services.
During winter, no one is available in the office; you must self register. During that time, you must pay with cash or check only. Also, there is a […]
Cedar Oaks RV Resort - Grove, OK
We stayed at Cedar Oaks RV Resort on our way back from a camping trip in Branson. This is a very nice park located right on Grand Lake of the Cherokees in northeastern Oklahoma.
There are a great selection of campsites right on the lakefront and we had one of them. There are also free boat slips available for RV’ers who have boats. The owners and staff were wonderful, rates are reasonable, and there is plenty to see and do within a mile or two of the campground.
Harris Beach State Park - Brookings, OR
Harris Beach is a beautiful State Park with a camping area located on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean!
The sites are well shaded in a forest of stately mature pines. Sites are large but have water/electric hook-up only, though they do have a dump station. A limited number of sites have a view of the […]
Crown Villa RV Resort - Bend, OR
Crown Villa is one of the classiest campgrounds we have ever stayed at. The sites are finished with brick pavers and are very large with plenty of room. The installed landscape lighting really adds a nice touch at night! The staff is extremely friendly. We were escorted directly to our site and they even helped […]
Midway RV Park - Centralia, WA
Midway RV Park is a small, quiet, well maintained campground with a very friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The park is centrally located about half-way between Seattle and Portland, and less than a mile off I-5.
From the moment we entered the park we noticed […]
Savannah South KOA - Richmond Hill, GA
The Savannah South KOA is a good overnight stop with easy access to I-95 but just far enough away from the highway for some peace and quiet.
This is a very pretty property! There are lots of tall trees and shaded pull-thru sites. They have a real nice 35 acre fishing lake with lots of waterfowl.
Skowhegan/Canaan KOA - Canaan, ME
We visited the Skowhegan/Canaan KOA last summer for 15 nights. This is one of, if not the best campground we have ever stayed at. This is not a booming area but enough to keep you busy. You can do day trips to the coast, etc and explore the many area towns and parks.
Our hosts Don, […]
Cherry Hill Camping Resort - Kaysville, UT
Wow! Are you looking for a campground that will keep your kids (and yourself) occupied every minute you’re there? Cherry Hill is the campground! We stayed a week here last summer and loved every minute of it! The kids hated to leave (actually, we did too but didn’t admit it).
There was tons of stuff to […]
