Campground Reviews for February, 2007
Seven Maples Campground – Hancock, NH
We are seasonal campers at Seven Maples in Hancock, N.H. It is located in New Hampshire’s Monadnock Region. The owners are the best… they really care about their campers. We have only had them for one season but they have already won the hearts of all of us. The grounds are nice and the camp [...]
Megunticook Campground By the Sea – Rockport, ME
When you want quiet relaxation on the Maine Coast, this place rates a “10″. Megunticook Campground is complete with tent sites, back-ins, pull-throughs, and cottages. Every site is well shaded and some are quite private. None of the sites are directly on the water, but the large deck with pavilion, benches, and BBQ’s overlook scenic [...]
American RV Park – Albuquerque, NM
We had a very positive working experience at American RV Park. This was our first workamping experience. The campground is in a transitional stage so is not without problems but many of the "seasoned" workers said that Pamela & Garland were especially good managers. We felt that they were great to work with & for.
French Quarter RV Resort – New Orleans, LA
Sorry, but I say “Stay away from here.” French Quarter RV Resort looks OK, but this is definitely in a crime-ridden area. They have poor security and, in my opinion, the prices are far too high.Check out other campgrounds in better areas. The manager was not at all friendly or helpful when we were there.
