Pack the kids, this place is great! Located in Poland, NY near the Southern Adirondacks. Our last-minute reservation was accepted quickly, and check-in was fast and friendly. Then came the real reward, the campground is immaculate. Buildings and grounds are maintained to a very high standard with lots of entertaining extras. The West Canada Creek [...]

For beach and wildlife lovers, this place is paradise. RV sites have paved pads, and a separate area is reserved for tents only. Another area prohibits the use of generators making it ideal for pop-ups and tents. There is no shade in either the Ocean Front or Bay Front camping areas, so being prepared will [...]

We have just returned from our second stay at Big Oaks Family Campground. We visited the park last season in a small pop-up and returned this year in a 20′ Sunline trailer (and were able to enjoy the benefits of FULL HOOK UPS!).

Last season, we did stay a 4 day weekend in the pop-up at Cape Henlopen State Park (only water provided) and then took a ride over to Big Oaks. We selected a few spots and booked a 4 day weekend in August.
