Yogi Bear Jellystone Park – Goodfield, IL

There was one bathroom with 2 stalls and 3 showers for the whole campground, there had to be over 150 sites. The bathrooms were very outdated and dirty. The pool was so tiny for a campground of that size. We could [...]
Camping in the Smokies – Gatlinburg, TN
(rate this campground) Loading ...We spent our Memorial Day Weekend camping at Camping in the Smokies near Gatlinburg, TN. In the 29 years of camping, we have never had as bad of an experience as we had at this campground.
This campground is old, outdated and small. The amenities such as the pool, bath house and laundry room (which was not enclosed) were small and outdated too. Most of the sites did not have more than 10 feet of grass area between the campsites. So you get to know your neighbors real well. However, what wasn’t small was the number of insects (especially gnats and mosquitoes)!
W. Kerr Scott Dam And Reservoir – Wilkesboro, NC
(1 visitors have rated this campground.) Loading ...We just spent our first day on the lake at W Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir in Wilkesboro. I was very disappointed in the area. We launched our boat to make sure everything was running good and we left our Big Bertha Tube in the back of our pickup truck, we were going to return and pick it up. While we were out for this short trip someone stole the tube from the bed of our truck. We were parked at the Skyline Marina.
