Campground Reviews for August, 2005
Yogi Bear Jellystone Park - Sturbridge, MA
We stayed at Jellystone in August 2005. Our kids always look forward to staying there. For the most part we like it there. It is a very expensive campground. It is $4 per person, per day to get into the better swimming pool. The sites seem a bit tight. There is a lot to do. They […]
Big Oaks Family Campground - Rehoboth Beach, DE
By nature I am a forgiving person. In addition, since I come from a family of small business owners, I am reluctant to leave negative feedback about a small, family-owned business. However, my family?s experience a Big Oaks Family Campground in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, was so unpleasant, that I feel a strong need to do what I can to save others from a similarly unpleasant experience.
Pine Valley RV Resort - Quechee, VT
With the last weekend in July free, we decided to spend a few days at Pine Valley RV Resort in Quechee, Vermont. Being peak camping season we weren’t sure we could even get a site, but called anyway… We were in luck! Just one site left, water and electric only, so we booked it.
Pine Valley […]
Prairie Breeze RV Park - Menoken, ND
Prairie Breeze is a campground primarily for overnighters. It is not a park you would spend a weekend or a few days at. There are no facilities here… no restrooms, laundry, recreation or activities. However, the property is clean and well maintained.
The park is small, with about 40 sites and all of them are large, […]
River Plantation RV Park - Sevierville, TN
River Plantation RV Park is near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and located very convenient off the main road (US Route 441). Shopping and attractions are very close by. This is a beautiful campground. Very nice showers, laundry, and pool.
Friendly people and well organized. I would give this campground a 5 out of 5. Camping fees were $28.50 minus 10% discount for good Sam members, for a 3 way hook up. We recommend this park and will surely return!
Paradise in the Woods RV Park - Strafford, MO
We would like to report on the “Paradise in The Woods RV Park & Campground” in Strafford, Missouri. We feel it is a very poor place to camp. We made a reservation for a weeks stay in June of 2005. We were told that it was a nice clean camp and there was plenty of […]
