Campground Reviews for June, 2005
Monte Sano State Park - Huntsville, AL
Monte Sano State Park is a very nice, peaceful campground located on top of a mountain overlooking the city of Huntsville. The campground is gated and secure. Interior roads are paved and in good condition. Sites are level and a comfortable size.
Woodlawn Campground - Delmar, MD
For North and South travelers through Maryland and Delaware along Route 13, here’s a nice place to rest and relax. Woodlawn is a small family owned park with lots of advantages. The Park is only one block off Route 13 with easy drive-through and back-in sites. Bath facilities are clean and well maintained, the park […]
Ledgeview Village RV Park - Lake George, NY
Finally! After a long, cold and snowy New England winter, camping season was officially here. Yeah, I know… it’s only May and I remember plenty of cold and rainy Memorial Day weekends, but even a bad weather vacation day is far better than a good day at work.
Our first camping trip of the year has […]
Meredith Woods Camping Area - Meredith, NH
If you’re an RVer that’s looking for a small, quiet campground in the middle of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, Meredith Woods Campground may be just for you.
Check in was quick and the staff was friendly. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The campground has excellent interior paved roads and the sites are comfortably large […]
Outdoor Resorts - Virginia Beach, VA
We live about 50 miles from this RV Resort and try to spend long weekends at least 5 times a year. It is the most wonderful place. Most sites here are on canals, some are on the sound, and right across the street is the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. It is paradise to me […]
Beachcomber Camping Resort - Cape May, NJ
Beachcomber is one of the best campgrounds that we have ever stayed at! It’s a beautiful park with plenty of things to do for the entire family… and centrally located to both Wildwood and Cape May. The campground is large, clean, well maintained and nicely landscaped. Amenities include 3 adult pools, 3 kiddy pools and 2 freshwater lakes for swimming, a large playground, and plenty of scheduled activities. Sites are comfortably large. Our site was on a large, level concrete slab. We also took advantage of the wireless internet (Wi-Fi)!

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park - Eureka, MO
A few summers ago we took a three week vacation and toured the midwest in our new motorhome. About 25 miles west of St. Louis on I-44 (Eureka) we passed a Six Flags Theme Park.
Since it was fairly early in the morning, we decided to stop, park the RV in the lot and spend the […]
Disney’s Fort Wilderness - Lake Buena Vista, FL
What can you say… this is Disney! It’s the campground from which all others are compared. It’s easy to see why Fort Wilderness is consistently voted the best campground in America. Everything is first class here. Right down to the trash cans (each site has one and they’re recessed underground so only the tops can […]
Coles Creek State Park - Waddington, NY
This place is a destination. The park is situated along the St Lawrence River. The Park Staff does a great job with buildings and grounds maintenance. There is nice playground and swimming area, plus a camp store and Ice Cream Shop.
Salem Farms Campground - Salem, CT
Salem Farms Campground is set in a beautiful rural area. It is family owned and operated. There are numerous activities planned throughout the day to keep the kids busy. My husband and I stayed there two years ago and this year bought a ParkHome to spend our summers at Salem Farm Campground.
The family is very […]
