Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park - Florence, OR
Carl Washburne State Park campground is one of our favorites. It has the wonderful hookups that Oregon is noted for and the location is terrific. It is only a few miles to the famous Haceta Head Lighthouse where you can take a tour or just enjoy the wonderful views. You can either drive to the Lighthouse or hike along the beach to it.

Michigamme Shores Campground - Champion, MI
Michigamme Shores Campground is a scenic, peaceful, secluded park located in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula.
We had the opportunity to stay here for a week recently and had a great time! The campground staff was friendly and helpful. The park grounds are well maintained and interoir roads are paved. Campsites have level gravel pads and full hookups, fire rings, and picnic tables.
The campground has a nice, sandy beach right on Lake Michigamme. The beach has volleyball court, playground, community fire ring, tables, a swimming area, and a boat dock. Away from the beach area there is are tennis and basketball courts. You can rent all sorts of watercraft including canoes, kayaks, paddle boats, motor boats, and pontoon boats.

Campers Cove RV Park - Alpena, MI
Campers Cove is a great campground located on beautiful Thunder Bay River and Lake Wynah. The park has waterfront sites, shaded sites, canoe and kayak trips, miniature golf, horseshoes, shuffleboard, basketball, volleyball, excellent fishing. The facilities were clean and well maintained.
All sorts of watercraft are available for rental here… canoes, kayaks, pontoon boats, fishing boats and paddleboats. You can spend the day with the whole family enjoying a canoe or kayak trip starting at $23.00 per boat, ranging from 2 1/2 to overnite trips. Or you can fish right from the shore or from a boat. Walleye, large and small mouth bass, pike, perch, croupie and trout.

Cooperstown KOA - Cooperstown, NY
This is another very nice KOA campground located in a great hillside country setting about 8 miles north of Cooperstown NY.
