Megunticook Campground is complete with tent sites, back-ins, pull-throughs, and cottages. Every site is well shaded and some are quite private. None of the sites are directly on the water, but the large deck with pavillion, benches, and BBQ’s overlook scenic Peneobscot Bay. Easy access from Route 1 allows for day trips to nearby Rockland and Rockport, and a State Ferry terminal is nearby for exploring the islands.
