Otter Lake Camp Resort is a nice place, and very quiet at night because children are not to leave their campsite after 10 pm. The restrooms are clean and well supplied. The campground can get a little crowded in the daytime but it’s an excellent park for kids. The fishing lake is private so no license is needed… however the lake is very shallow and I didn’t see anyone catch anything bigger than a sunny. Again, great for kids.

This is one place I don’t recomend to any one. Rest rooms are filthy, the lake is dirty, the sites are small and a lot of riff-raff walking around. The store and game room are a joke.

A nice little RV park located 8 miles north of Caldwell, Idaho with easy access from I-84, just 0.3 miles off of Exit 17. Great overnite stopover. The campground was clean, quiet and affordable. The park is family owned and the staff was very friendly.Boise River Festival, Snake River Stampede, and Roaring Springs Water Park […]

We camped overnight at Cedar Haven in Freeport Maine in August 2004. Nice clean, campground. Very nice people running the place. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Lake Pemaquid in August 2004. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice facilities. Great playgrounds for the kids. Excellent waterfront. Two negative comments. First, the water in the hot tubs, appeared dirty and they always seemed to be occupied by kids and teenagers — even the tubs for adults only.

This is a very nice park. The RV sites have level, concrete paved and full hookups. The main attraction is the fact that the campground is located right next to Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari, amusement and water parks, and a short distance from the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, Lincoln State Park, and the Young Abe Lincoln Outdoor Drama.

This is one of the nicer KOAs that we’ve stayed at in the midwest. The park has a pleasant country-like setting, located just off interstate I-70, exit 96. We stayed here while attending a NASCAR race at the Indianapolis Speedway.

I can’t say enough good things about White River Campground. This is one of the nicest campgrounds that we have found in Indiana. The property is gated with 24-hour security. The facilities are extremely well maintained. The restrooms are always clean, and the buildings and amenities are in great shape.

California

Dean Creek Resort - Redway, CA

We would not recomend this campground. Found it online and they boasted of fishing & swimming in the Eel River, of being right on the water and close to the ocean. The place is located on a cliff above the river and the river does not have hardly any water in the summer. We arrived to find a swimming ban because of the algae content, also the space we reserved was too small for our trailer.

Very expensive ($50 per night) even with a KOA membership card. Lots of traffic, small camp sites and six miles from town. It’s hit or miss if you get cable or a concrete pad. Stay in town at one of the other places such as the Rustic Wagon etc. Much less expensive & crowded.
