The staff at this KOA were really helpful. This was the 2nd trip out for my DH and I in our brand new Jayco 25E. We ran into a problem with our travel trailer as we weren’t warned about squirrels chewing the main propane line… the staff on the phone was so helpful, they offered to help us do the repairs on site so we could come!

This campground is the best! It is located in Amboy, IL, about 2-1/2 hours west of Chicago. They have an abundance of sites with electric, water and sewer. The sites are very large (twice as large as some other campgrounds we have been to). They are very kid friendly so if you have younger children, this is the place to be. There are 3 pools, jacuzzi’s and two water slides.

What a great family campground! We have gone there two years in row now with all kids in tow and had nothing short of a wonderful time. The staff is friendly and laid back, the store has everything you need, the pool is clean, and the sites are roomy. I will be camping there again.

For beach and wildlife lovers, this place is paradise. RV sites have paved pads, and a separate area is reserved for tents only. Another area prohibits the use of generators making it ideal for pop-ups and tents. There is no shade in either the Ocean Front or Bay Front camping areas, so being prepared will make your stay more enjoyable. Facilities are limited to Chemical Toilets and Cold Showers. I used my solar water bag and had a nice warm shower. Canoes are rented during the summer months and there are many possibilities for exploring along various interpretive trails throughout the park.

This is a very nice RV park conveniently located just off Interstate 84 in Boise. Close to shopping and lot’s of restaurants. The park has a good mix of shady and open areas. Individual sites are on pavement or grass.
The staff was friendly and accommodating when we checked in. the campground has a good mix […]

They say they are pet friendly… they aren’t! The rules include not to have your pet hooked up on a leash outside you RV even if your with them. When I first set up I always hook my pet’s leash outside so when we have a chance to relax outside we hook her up… we never leave her outside alone. After a late night arrival and going to bed after I set up, of course I set up the pet’s leash like I always do.

Owned and Operated by Mobile County, this park has nice level pull thru lots and is located on Dead Lake in the Mobile-Tensaw Delta. Easy access off of I-65 Exit #22. Marina, Delta Tour, and several great fishing areas, boat and canoe rentals. Very kid friendly and low rates make this a great RV […]

Beaver Trails is a  quaint family oriented campground in a beautiful setting, although being relatively close to the Interstate it can be a bit noisy at times.
They have lot’s of neat amenities for the kids including a petting zoo and a train that runs around the park. Campsites are average, nothing special, but are large […]

This beautiful campground is located adjacent to the Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park in the Sierra foothills. Most campsites are along the South Fork of the American River. There is a narrow bridge to cross to get to the campsite, but it is easy to cross (once you’ve done it once). It is walking distance from Sutters Mill. There is river rafting, gold panning and just plain relaxing. It is beautiful to sit by the river with your campfire crackling and the river sounds blending in.
